Liked The site was easy to find and very well maintained. I used this site as a stopover for one night, so it didn't matter that there was no toilet or shower facilities. (it does say that in the info, so I knew that before I booked it) Very quiet site, which was lovely.

Liked This is a simple, basic site and the cost reflects this. It was just what I needed for a one-night getaway - quiet and simple. Compost toilets are clean. Libby is friendly and gave me advice on a nice dog walk, which was easily manageable.

Liked I wanted a no-frills, quiet, peaceful getaway for one night and this campsite was exactly what I needed. It's just two fields and a toilet block - which was spotless. Lovely walk out the back of the site, which was a massive bonus, too. The only sound was birdsong - pure bliss.

Liked Nice reception when I arrived. Made sure I was on a level pitch. Nice simple site. Showers and toilets clean. Next to the River Thames, so nice and easy walk with my dog. There's a play area for children and a games room. Site is locked 8pm-8am. There's a pedestrian gate that's open 24 hrs.

From the manager: Thank you Michelle we have just taken the lease on this campsite & are checking reviews . Your review is most helpful & very good point. We will tend to this before we reopen on 1st March . Hope to see you again in the future when you will see some changes have been made Kind regards Dawn

Liked Good location. Warm welcome. Pitches are level. Clean toilets and showers. Please see below for advice.

Disliked Not really a dislike, just some advice. The grass pitches are quite a distance to the shower/toilet block, so I would advise to take a portable toilet with you. Also you need to take 50p pieces for the 3-minute shower. Also take a 25m electric cable as my 10m wasn't long enough from my pitch.

From the manager: Thanks for staying with us. Toilet distance and the charge for the showers is all in the write up on pitch up which you should have read before booking. Please let me be clear it’s 50p for 5 minutes not 3.

Liked Nice small, quiet campsite. You arrive to a board with your name next to a pitch number. Very easy to find your pitch. Shower and toilet block clean and tidy. I do like a decent sized shower cubicle, which this is. Couldn't fault this site at all.

Liked The welcome was friendly and informative. The camping pod was very comfortable. The showers were enclosed with a toilet and sink, which I thought was a great idea.
