Nothing…
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Nothing
Disliked On arrival, we were told that we didn’t have an electric hook up (which I had purposely booked). We accepted that we couldn’t have the electric and then were placed directly beside the bin compound which smelt revolting, and between two families, both of which were playing radios and loud music. We have stayed in campsites all over the world, but this one was as close to hell as humanly possible.
If you want a peaceful and serene camping trip, stay well away from this site.

Great vibe
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked It's lively and a great vibe but at the same time it calmed down late at night.when.the kids went to bed. The local area is brilliant, our dogs loved swiming in the Thames as did we. There's a lot of nice pubs as well, great for breaking up the dog walks on a warm day. We will be back.
Disliked No soap in the toilet soap dispensers. There was on Friday but they don't check them the rest of the weekend.

Lovely site in a great position.
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked This site is in a lovely location, right at the side of the Thames. We received a very friendly welcome onto the site.
The toilets and showers are very clean .
It is super handy if you are a dog owner as there is a big field next to the site, surrounded by trees, to let the dog have a good run. There is also a small park for the kids on site but there is another next door. From the side of the Thames it's nice to watch the boats go past.
As you are near Heathrow obviously planes fly over but we quite liked to watch them and we didn't hear them much after 11pm.
Once you have set up you have to move your car to a private car park to the side of the side but there is a gate from there back onto the site for easy access. It seems safe in there so didn't bother us.
All in all it's a basic but quiet and perfectly positioned site so when we're in the area, we'll definitely book in again.

Highly recommend
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Good facilities, well organised centre of the camp with playground, social club and picnic tables. Good reception, very clear organisation of the site. Close proximity to river Thames for those who plan to enjoy paddle boarding or kayaking or river bank walking.
Disliked Water taps in the toilets switch off as soon as you release. It takes two people to properly wash faces with two hands.
No Wi-Fi on the site (at least my phone has not identified any).
