What customers say
This campground has a lovely riverside setting, perfect for families and water fun. Visitors love the friendly staff, clean washrooms, and roomy spots. Close to theme parks and London. Some planes can be noisy, and showers are a bit old, but they're kept tidy. Great value and a welcoming vibe.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Just arrived home from a 2nights stay, I
Must admit on arrival I was not feeling the place, but soon realised this is pretty cool, the staff where great and very helpful and the site has everything needed for an enjoyable stay, the facilities very good shower where hot every time I went for a shower and clean overall really enjoyed my stay thank you
Disliked My only gripe without being petty was the car park would have liked to see some cctv just for pice of mind, maybe a coded gate or something, also the pitches I felt where a little cramped

Lovely 3 night stay.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked The campsite was situated right next to the river Thames. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding. But most of all the swing letting them to sit n and jump off into the river.
The staff where very friendly and informed us of all all the rules. There are toilets blocks and showers. Also the wash room for washing dishes and there was also washing machines and tumble drier. For the children a park sandpit football volley ball and a games room. Perfect for our 3 night stay.
Disliked The over flowing rubbish skips. But these where hidden and away from the tents and other facilities.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked This campsite is a bit of a hidden gem so to speak. Great location next to the river. Friendly, helpful team running it. Been running for many years [decades] and has some interesting history to the site. Park and open space nearby. Well laid out in terms of safe playing for the children and facilities such as the games room.
Disliked Nothing to really dislike. If you want a well run, safe, campsite for the family, offering easy acccess to the river for activities such as swimming, canoeing, fishing etc this does what it says on the tin.

Being escorted to my pitch location.
Free ice pack freezing.
Free showers.
Easy access to potable water around the site.
General location - local river offers leisure activity but also national & local attractions are not too far further afield.
