  • Superbly located Surrey campsite with easy motorway access
  • Thorpe Park, Windsor Castle and Legoland Windsor within 30 mins' drive
  • On the banks of the River Thames, with Thames Path access
What a handy camping spot this is… Laleham Camping Club has easy access to the M3 and M25 motorways, it’s close to Heathrow airport and Staines railway station is only about 10 minutes’ drive away for easy jaunts to the capital. On top of all that, there are all sorts of attractions within easy reach, including Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Windsor Castle and Legoland Windsor. And if that all sounds a bit exhausting, it’s good to know that the location within London’s protected Green Belt means you’ll have peaceful surroundings for relaxing on site. The River Thames runs alongside, giving you access to the Thames Path for walks and bike rides, or to the water for kayaking, paddleboarding and swims. The nearest major urban centre is Staines, accessible by car, bus or a walk along the riverbank and with a good collection of shops and restaurants, plus a cinema. Closer to home, Laleham village is 10 minutes’ stroll away, and has a convenience store and a choice of three pubs. The folk that run this Surrey site haven’t just relied on their location, though – they’ve made sure the place is a comfortable place to stay, with a good number of facilities including a launderette, free hot showers and handy extras including hairdryers and shaver points. Chillout time is well spent here too – there’s a small play park with sandpit in the centre of the site, and a wet-weather room with Sky TV, a pool table, table tennis and a dartboard. Next door in Laleham Park there’s an outdoor gym, a bigger play park and plenty of space to play games or walk dogs.

What customers say

A well-kept, friendly campsite on the Thames, praised for its prime location, spacious sites, and kid-friendly amenities. Staff are consistently welcoming. While generally clean, some facilities are a bit dated, and plane noise from nearby Heathrow is to be expected. Great for families and exploring!

Power optional grass campsite

Liked Really friendly campsite, great for those with children. All enclosed with a central play park, toilet block and football/volleyball pitch so never too far away. Very Clean pitches and very well maintained.

Set by the river Thames right outside the main gates. Walk along the river, paddle spots for swimming, dipping toes or jumping straight in along with a bigger council maintained park outside main gates and outdoor gym spot.

Close to all the local theme parks along with a short train journey away from the capital city.
The owners were really helpful and even offered to lend us things we had forgotten and told us not to struggle. Everyone who was working there were super helpful and friendly and it made for a super stress free relaxing camping trip!

We will definitely be back again soon!
Already recommended to a lot of family and friends from our trips previous.

Disliked Toilet block could do with upgrades / cleaning more regularly.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Such a lovely, peaceful, clean site, just across the road from the river. The staff are friendly and helpful. As a solo female, i felt safe. I’ve stayed once before and am already planning the next trip with a friend.
