Would definitely recommend. Lovely atmosphere.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked What a great find!
Great setting, right on the river with easy access to it - perfect for canoeing, paddle boarding etc.
Run by a really lovely family and friendly committee.
Staff really welcoming and so helpful (especially when my friends car wouldn't start on bank holiday Monday!) The chairman and his family spent ages trying to get it started.
Also great fun onsite over the Bank Holiday including live music, raffle, fete and quiz.
Also pizza van and other food available on site on certain days.
Great for kids with playground, volley ball and football goals on site.
Cars do not remain on site after unloading etc - free car park next door - so really safe for children. Plenty of space and access to field for games.
We had a really lovely stay - even though the weather was a bit hit and miss!!
Disliked Airplanes going over and sound of the road in the distance but didn't impact us at all as location with nearby shops and river and lovely people more than made up for it.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Small family-friendly and extremely attentive and helpful staff. Thorpe Park is a 10 minutes drive. Several watersports centres close by and it runs alongside the river.
Disliked If you're not used to traffic noise, beware of the sound of the nearby main roads and of course Heathrow planes overhead.

Very nice experience will visit again
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Staff very hard working efficient
and helpful always willing to help and polite they work very hard
And The fact you could leave something on charge and it was there when you
Comeback (in the washing up
Room and the games room )
The honesty of other campers makes it feels safe and at ease to do so nice to be respectful of Each other it does not happen that much these days anymore 🤷♀️
Disliked The fact that the gates were open all
Night to open spaces was daunting and uneasy sleeping and
Given the current situation in the world they should be locked after 11.45 pm
No entertainment or a small bar with cold
Drinks after 8pm or sandwich bar maybe
