What customers say
This well-kept campground offers a lovely riverside spot, great for water fun and local hikes. Guests rave about the friendly staff, roomy sites, and excellent family amenities like a popular playground and game room. Showers/restrooms are usually clean. While Heathrow proximity means some plane noise, most find it okay. A separate car park boosts child safety.

plenty for young children to play…
Power optional grass campsite
Liked plenty for young children to play on within the safe compounds of the site.
good showers and toilets. plenty of hot water in the showers.
The booking in was straightforward and we were shown where to pitch our caravan. Site staff were helpful.
Disliked Difficult to empty brown and grey water waste into the sluice due to it being several feet above ground level. A sluice at ground level would be a big improvement so that liquid waste could be wheeled to the sluice and then just tipped in rather than trying to lift it up to tip down the sluice.
Being allowed to park car next to caravan would make everything much more convenient and mean that valuables could be locked away in a car (rather than in a caravan - which are not very secure unless you want to lock the windows all closed.
Having to park the car in the carpark ( a wood which is rather remote from the site) and rather problematic when driving out onto the road on a blind corner is a disadvantage.
An information room would be a useful addition to the site.
