Liked Good pushchair walks. Water tap by each pitch. Toilets and showers so clean. A family shower which makes life with small kids easier. Everything was beautifully clean

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked It's a very pretty, quiet, secluded campsite. I liked the toilets and showers however there is only 2 of each. There was a good lot of shade one side of the site and the other side had beautiful sun. Def worth doing the meet and greet too
Disliked Not a dislike however the walk to the local pub (which is currently having a landlord cross over so no food is being sold) is a dodgy walk if u need to take a pushchair.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, we do have an extra toilet block in the bottom field, Unfortunaly either way of walking to the local pub has some road although one way is a much quieter road but across the field than the other way which is a mush busier road. but yes still a bit of a way with a pushchair. Highly recommend the yew tree slightly longer walk but defo worth it for food, drink and staff

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The view all around the campsites is very pretty. The toilets are very clean and the wardens are always hard at work. The park is very good. Plenty of water points
I like the number plate recognition, felt very safe. The dog exercise bit was good
Disliked Only 1 set of toilets and far away. It would benefit to have a portaloo or 2 in each field. Even though we saw the wardens alot they didn't seem to monitor quiet time and we had a few very noisy tents nearby who were shouting about till early hours.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback Becca. We're pleased to hear you found the campsite pretty, the staff hardworking and appreciated the secure entry system and dog exercising field. Whilst we have several facility blocks, they are located in the same area, and we do understand it can feel like a bit of a walk from the furthest non electric pitches. This is to reduce noise and light pollution on the campsite as we are a dark sky site where guests can enjoy amazing starlit skies. That said, we are discussing options for adding a couple of discreet toilets near the furthest pitches. We're sorry to hear you were disturbed by other guests, we carry out two late night walk arounds to ensure firepits are extinguished and guests are respecting quiet time, and we also include our 24 hour contact number for guests to notify us if they are being disturbed.

Liked The site was just what we wanted. Not too busy and plenty of space. Felt safe for the dogs and the kids. If u go out the campsite and turn left and left again, it has the most beautiful ford and a really lovely walk. Owners were lovely and you didn't feel rushed

From the manager: Thank you for such a nice review. We do have some very pretty walks here. There are lots of off-road circular walks around the farm, ranging from about ten minutes for tinies to hours and hours for hardy souls. Please come again and go exploring!
