Liked Very quiet campsite and toilets were clean. We didn’t really see any staff at all. Name on the board worked well as you didn’t have to stress what time you arrived. Also close to Looe centre. So quick drive in which was very handy. Pitch size also good with own water and electricity.

Disliked We stayed with children and there was nothing to do it is a very basic campsite just a pitch and toilet facilities with a small sink lower down the site for pots and pans which is fine if you fancy a quiet night. The sink where you wash your pots and pans should have a light especially if you end up doing your washing up later.

Liked Lovely shop on site which was handy if you needed any food during your stay. We had a choice of which pitch we wanted. Lots of chickens roaming around. Great location to the WW1 sites as well as a nearby retail park

Disliked Was going through a refurb by the looks of it so the children’s area was minimal and there were pitches being built

Liked Very friendly staff and really good sized pitches. Children liked the swimming pool. Good location. Walking distance to Shanklin and supermarkets nearby in case you’ve forgotten anything - Aldi and Morrisons nearby. Staff really did try to keep the site clean! I felt sorry for the young girl cleaning as she had a real job on her hands why do people feel it’s ok to leave toilet roll all over the place on the loos and around the sinks? Would definitely stay again as had everything you needed for a nice stay! Staff were lovely and let us check in earlier than they advertised which was nice as we were tired and just wanted to get set up so that was really useful. Space for the children to kick a ball around or play with other families. Was nice that they provided washing up bowls and drainers for everyone to use as before now I’ve forgotten a bowl! WiFi was non existent for most of the trip but the staff did warm about this. It didn’t affect our trip as it’s nice not to be on your phone the whole time. On the last day we seemed to have full Coverage so not sure if they had router problems.

From the manager: Glad you had a good time. All the equipment in the games room is provided free of charge. Last year we had a new pool table, and new goal posts We have had a new badminton net, and table tennis net. On an almost daily basis we replace the shuttlecocks and ping pong balls. Its a popular area and gets a lot of use (and misuse ) Sorry you didnt get good wifi. We have invested a lot in making sure it covers the whole site. WiFi is also provided free of charge

Liked Great location with a great little shop selling bits and bobs you can guarantee you have forgotten. Easy to find your pitches. Great for little ones as it has both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a little playground.

Disliked The pool guy was incredibly miserable and not at all friendly which put me off going there again. I do not mind that we had to pay a small fee to use it but it would be nice to have had some good customer service.
