What customers say
This popular clifftop campground offers stunning ocean views and a great base for exploring the Yorkshire coast. Guests rave about the friendly staff, clean facilities, and excellent fish and chips. It's family-friendly with a playground and pool. Some found pitches uneven and windy, with occasional noise and toilet cleanliness issues during peak times. Despite minor flaws, most highly recommend it and plan to return.

Disliked Not our typical choice. Found the free for all grass pitches over crowded but it was ok. It was all quiet and other campers were great. kids all well behaved.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, Melanie.
We are pleased to hear you found Crows Nest clean, functional and in a great location for a last minute stay. It is lovely to know you enjoyed the views and found the facilities good for children.
The non electric grass camping field is an open pitching area, so it can feel busier during peak weekends, particularly when the weather is good and we have a high number of last minute bookings. We are glad to hear it was quiet during your stay and that the other campers were considerate.
Thank you again for your feedback.

Lower area FHU gravel travel trailer campsite (super)
Liked Super pitches very spacious and very close to toilets. Very clean site. Excellent fish and chips.
Disliked Shower drains need cleaning out. As soon as the hot water was running all you cpuld smell was rancid drain smell. Quite possibly build up in the drain away trough.

We are pleased to hear you would stay again and found the super pitch spacious, convenient and close to the toilets. It is great to know you found the site very clean and enjoyed the fish and chips too.
We are sorry to hear there was an issue with the shower drains during your stay. These facilities are checked regularly, but we appreciate that a drain smell can be unpleasant and this is something we would always want to know about at the time so the team can investigate and resolve it as quickly as possible.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back to Crows Nest in the future.
