A very friendly and clean site.
Lower area FHU gravel travel trailer campsite (super)
Liked A very well kept site, very clean facilities, a great park for the children and a well kept swimming pool with lifeguards, good areas for dogs too, good size pitches. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, there is a very well stocked shop a pub and a chippy on site. I couldn’t say there is any negative feedback about this site at all. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review, Michelle.
We are really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the site clean, with clean toilets and showers. It is great to know you had a lovely few days away and found the pub staff friendly too.
We appreciate your comments regarding wheelchair access into the pub and conservatory. There are door sills in these areas, but all areas are accessible without steps. We will still take your feedback on board when considering future improvements.
Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to Crows Nest again soon.

Amazing views clean facilities with families…
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Amazing views clean facilities with families and couples enjoying time together in a civilised may.
Disliked We struggled to understand why the bar did not sell food only crisps but we were told we were not allowed to eat a sandwich bought from the shop onsite and had to eat it outside! They sent a young family outside too for the same reason. The manager of this site also is a rude and unfriendly man and sat watching him attempt customer service to the public which left us astonished.

From the manager: Thank you for your review.
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the amazing views and found the facilities clean, with families and couples enjoying the site in a pleasant way.
With regards to the bar, the rule is simply that outside food is not permitted to be eaten in the bar. This applies to all guests, including food bought from the shop, and is why you and the other family were asked not to eat sandwiches inside.
The bar is primarily for drinks, with food available elsewhere on site through the fish and chip shop and other food options at certain times. Signage is shown at every entrance which you must have missed.
Thank you again for your feedback.
