What customers say
Crows Nest Caravan Park gets rave reviews for amazing ocean views, great amenities, and a family-friendly vibe. Highlights include a popular playground, pool, and onsite fish and chips. Staff are praised as friendly, and the location is ideal for coastal exploration. While some note potential wind on open spots and rare toilet cleanliness issues during peak times, most found facilities well-kept. Visitors recommend it and many plan to revisit.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Great site, with amazing pitches, really good shower block and stuff to do like shop on the grounds and pub
Disliked Was quite disappointed as were lots of other people staying there that they hadn’t set up some way to watch the World Cup games if you own a dog. Think considering that the majority of people camping brought a dog they’ve missed a ticket not doing something like this

From the manager: We are pleased you enjoyed the pitches, shower facilities, shop and pub, and thank you for the excellent score.
The World Cup matches were shown in the bar, although dogs are not permitted inside. We appreciate this meant guests who had brought dogs could not watch there, but unfortunately it is not practical for us to provide a separate dog friendly viewing area for every match. Free WiFi is available throughout the bar area and conservatory, so guests could also stream the match on their own devices.

Liked Pool and slides
Shower facilities and their cleanliness
Shop (all very reasonably priced)
Views over the coast!!!
Disliked Dog poo around site and dogs off leads- annoying with our 4 year old. Not the parks fault but a shame when there’s a perfectly good enclosed dog park

Liked A lovely site in a great location for exploring! Lots of facilities to use. Lovely fish and chips and a great pub too! Clean facilities and loved the family toilet option!
Disliked It’s so difficult when people can park wherever they want, because it was a nice weekend there were so many people and it felt like camping in a car park! There were huge groups of people partying until early hours of the morning (some until 5am!) and no security or anyone to stop them! When we complained the next morning the staff said weren’t very understanding and said we should have come earlier to complain.

As advertised, pitches in this field are not individually designated, although guests must still park and camp responsibly.
When the noise was reported, the guests responsible were spoken to and there was no repeat the following night.
The only guest we advised should have reported the issue sooner did not mention it to our team until around 5pm the following day. Fortunately, it had already been reported by another guest and dealt with by then. Had it not been, reporting it so much later would have been too late for us to intervene.
We do have ANPR recording all vehicles entering the park, but security cannot prevent every instance of inconsiderate behaviour before it is reported. Our team acted once made aware and the issue was resolved.
Wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked facilities where clean, shop well stocked and fish and chip shop was lovely. amazing views and sunsets
Disliked However it is still possibly the worst ive ever stayed on. its so badly ran no structure to pitching, cars park up right in front of your campervan awning. People still turning up at 8-9 at night to set up tents and just leaving cars. if in emergency you couldnt get out. the website says no firepits people still had them. no one came round there was group up till half 3 in the morning with the firepit on music so loud shouting, swearing. I woke up to rubbish/beer cans scattterd all over round our van, then they where back up at half 8 with the music on so loud from there cars. shouting and swearing and drinking no consideration for families with kids. Other kids were flying all over on electric bikes around the children play park, nearly knocking my daughter over and once again no member off staff about to to sort it, we had to leave a night early due to not be able to put up with it another night. we spoke to reception all she had to say was somone else complained this morning too, sorry. Tried messaging them direct but no reply. Real shame as this would be a great site otherwise

The noisy group was reported to us, spoken to by our team and there was no repeat the following night.
We are sorry to hear about the electric bikes near the play area, as this should also have been reported immediately so our team could address it. We have staff on site, but they cannot witness every incident across the park unless guests make us aware at the time.
This is the only low score we have received from guests staying over the same weekend, with other reviews describing a very different experience. While we recognise that the behaviour of a small number of inconsiderate guests affected your stay, our team acted once the issue was brought to our attention.
Great for families.
Lower area FHU gravel travel trailer campsite (super)

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The site itself was really nice and clean.
Disliked The noise. There was a group of people around 20 +. Shouting and singing really loud, and the music was so noisy past o'clock in the morning. Its supposed to be a family site. There was nobody to report it to as wasn't any security. Simply isn't good enough.
