Liked Lovely welcome and peaceful site, even with the cockerel! Handy for the West Somerset Railway and our trip on the Royal Scotsman. Would definitely stay again.

Disliked Nothing
We would not hesitate to book a longer stay.
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely flat pitch, clean, comfortable facilities, perfect hostess,(aka The Chicken Lady, aka The Lady of Petunia Manor) beautiful location, great brewery 5 minutes walk away.
Disliked Just a suggestion really…. The shower heads are set on one fixed height which for the vertically challenged are a bit high up. Could an extra lower fitting be installed so we shorties could have The Perfect Shower?
A lovely little tucked away site.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Large level pitches, and lovely hot showers, with complementary toiletries which were a nice touch. The flushing chemical toilets were basic but adequate.
The site was very quiet apart from the feathered residents which we enjoyed hearing. The owner Karen was very friendly and helpful in pointing out local walks. There is also a brewery and the steam railway a short walk away, both are worth a visit.
Disliked Washing up area could be bigger, it meant queuing at times.
Lovely, peaceful site
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The peace and quiet, with only train whistles sounding. Extra facilities thoughtfully provided due to busy weekend. Good value for money.
Excellent peaceful site
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Friendly owner who allowed us to pitch early. The small site was wooded on 3 sides and there was an intimacy to the site. Despite the high temperatures, it was possible to find shade. The water in the showers was hot and I liked the complementary eco shampoo. There was plenty of toilets and showers for the size of the site. We were next to the steam railway and the Quantock Brewery and close to lovely walking in the Quantocks. Very peaceful stay and a super 3 night stay and we will come again.
Disliked Only one washing up station meant we had to wait sometimes to wash up but that was a very minor issue.
Great location, friendly, pitches are generous, peaceful and relaxing.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked We love this site, this is the third time we've stayed here and spoke to a few people on the site and it wasn't anybody's first visit; to me this speaks volumes.
The owners are really friendly, it's five minutes walk to the Heritage steam railway and to a Brewery with taproom and there's a regular bus service between Minehead and Taunton on the door step (well, by the station). The adjacent chickens and geese add a real farm feel to the place.
Disliked The phone signal is poor and there's no WiFi, also the toilet facilities are a bit basic but other than that there's nothing not to like.
Lovely peaceful site within walking distance of the village.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Friendly and helpful owners.
Extra showers added, they now have five.
Excellent site, friendly owners and superb hanging baskets

Liked New luxury toilet block and showers. Lovely peaceful location within minutes of steam railway station, microbrewery and countryside walks.
Disliked Picked the luxury shower in the shower block and it stopped every 10 seconds and had to re press. Water came out cold again everytime pressed! Not a pleasant experience when trying to rise off shampoo! Conversely my husband used the other showers and he said they were the best campsite showers he has ever used. Hot and powerful.
