What customers say
Litton Lakes is praised for its beautiful location, friendly staff, and spacious pitches. The lake is a major highlight, popular for swimming and paddleboarding, with a cafe and nearby pub also well-received. Facilities are generally clean, though some guests noted issues with water pressure and a lack of lights in the toilet block. While many enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, some found it too busy or noisy, particularly with large groups. There's a consensus that improvements to toilet and shower facilities would be beneficial.

An absolute gem of a campsite, completely tucked away and peaceful.
Non-electric grass pitch

Lovely stay.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The setting- in the shelter of low lying hills, flat pitches, big skies, and of course the lake… a huge draw for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. A nice cafe on site, and in walking distance to the pub. Just about the perfect place. West bay is nearby and Bridport for the farmers market.
Disliked Ok… the water pressure in the shower block is a problem. My last shower was a very small dribble of water that ran down the shower stand and only one tap worked in the hand washing area.

Fabulous 2 night break we definitely want to come back.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Most beautiful location and friendly staff.
The lake was great for SUP and the children loved jumping in.
The deluxe hot chocolate from the cafe is to die for.
We loved the field that the children could play on as well as our tent over looked it.
Disliked The shower water pressure was a bit low and the hot water a bit hit and miss.
But this didn’t spoil our time here.

Bell tent (basic)
Liked The setting is beautiful. The lake is great for all ages. Take your own SUP and there’s lots of fun to be had.
The bell tents are good, the carpet was handy. We fit 4 of us with living space and that included 3 camp beds.
It was clean and run by friendly staff. Beautiful pub up the road too.
Disliked The showers. Just not enough power to them.l and they stopped altogether at one point.
And for £100 a night for the bell tent hire, then a decent shower at anytime is a reasonable ask.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Beautiful setting and the lake is perfect for children to mess about out on. Fab cafe, shame it's not open into the evening too! The toilet facilities were super clean and always a toilet or shower available. Generous pitches and massive playing field. Lovely short stroll to a very friendly pub.
Disliked The bathroom facilities are basic and the hot water isn't v reliable, and if people are flushing the toilets the water pressure seemed to totally go. No electricity on site so come prepared with battery packs and no fridge or freezer to refreeze ice packs etc.

Great site, lovely staff, beautiful lake and surroundings.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The site was lovely, well organised but flexible for small groups. Campers were respectful and site was quiet after 11pm.
Lake was well used but not too overcrowded and cafe was a great bonus.
Facilities were kept very clean.
Disliked My only issue was the showers and lack of water. It was very much hit and miss, but totally respect what owners are trying to achieve, wouldn’t put me off coming again.

Wonderful short holiday
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely place with a lake and paths to walk. The campground was big enough for pitches not to crowd each other. The campsite warden is friendly and helpful . They have enough toilet and shower facilities and washing areas.
Disliked No signal for some mobile network but I managed to allow myself off my phone for 3 days😊, weak water pressure for showers

Location is peaceful easy access to pub, farm shop, beaches.
Showers warm when timed right due to solar.
