Litton Lakes

Ik was blij met Fantastic location. Amazing lake for swimming and paddle boarding. Our children had the BEST time. Good facilities and the onsite cafe for a good coffee and cake in the morning was lovely. Will 100% stay again.

My only downfall is that my friend slipped on the slope into the water holding my toddler and my toddler had a nasty bump to her head on the concrete, so perhaps a warning sign by the lake that it is slippery would be useful, it could have happend to anyone and othera did slip, fortunately no other injuries, but otherwise faultless!

Ik was blij met Clean. Had a lake which is clean, a good swim in it round the island. It's apparently a spring fed, man made lake which is why it is so clean, no creepy crawlies!

Ik was blij met Loved the setting and location - Litton Lakes is surrounded by rural countryside and close to all of Dorset’s best bits. Having access to the lake for swimming, SUP/ Kayaking was amazing and the lakeside cafe was great for coffees. We loved the short walk to the pub which had a varied weekly programme and a traditional skittle alley which was great fun! We also loved the Ember Haus sauna on the lake which was magical at sunset.

Check in was easy and the wardens were very approachable and friendly.

Ik was niet blij met The showers spray everywhere! They somehow make everything wet except the person trying to have a shower! They’re heated using solar panels so temperature wise they’re a bit hit & miss depending on the time of day.

Ik was blij met Likes pretty much everything! The lake, the lovely people running the camp site, the space we had, and most of the facilities!

Ik was blij met This site is such a great place, we have been back once or twice a year for the past 4 years now. It's super relaxed, very family friendly and the lake is just amazing. Over the years they have invested and improved in the campsite and the lake also and each year it's noticeable which to me shows they really care. The cafe is great also. There is a really lovely pub a very short walk away, and they are always really accommodating.

Ik was blij met As a single, female elderly traveler (not in your drop-down option list!) I felt very safe. I only discovered this lake this summer, and it is now one of my favourites. I loved my short stay at the lake. So beautiful and peaceful. Great facilities. Only let down is the cafe hours! See you in September. Thank you
