A great campsite for families.
Electric grass pitch (lake view, no pets)
Liked The large pitches, large open space edged by the forest but with plenty of space for playing ball games. Friendly helpful staff. The expectation that campers will be quiet after 10pm.
The shop and reception. The activities on offer. The washrooms were cleaned regularly. The marked walking/ cycle trails around the site. Hot water for dishwashing. Pub serving food, small coop and a chippy within a 6 min drive at Bransgove. The beautiful coast only 20min drive away.
Disliked The communal washrooms for any gender. Not enough wash basins and no private washing cubicles for a strip wash or washing young children. No dedicated sinks for washing clothes/swimwear. The noise of the aircraft using local airport at Bournemouth.

Great site for family activities loads to do both free and paid.
Non-electric grass pitch (lake view, no pets)
Liked Loads of activities, great little shop well proced. We had a nice pitch which was very spacious.
Disliked Toilet and shower block often not very clean and some of the drains were a bit smelly. Although it didn't bother us the toilet and shower block are mixed sex this is not made clear on booking, some people may find this and unconfortable surprise. Only one bin location for whole site and they hadnt been emptied recently so were overflowing.
