Electric grass pitch

Liked: We stayed here for the first time last year when we first started camping we are a couple in their mid twenties with a young daughter and we camped with our friends as well. We love staying here. The people who run the site are lovely and go above and beyond. For example we got burnt to a crisp one of the days we went to the beach and forgot after sun and they had some we could borrow. Last time we also forget something I can’t remember what but I do remember they gave us something. It’s just a very big field with blocks for toilets which I have to say are very clean. My only quib would be that the showers on their own are maybe a bit too hot and you’re unable to change the temperature but the shower in the woman’s block is lovely as you can change temperature but I also felt like I might of fallen through the floor. Might just be me being paranoid. Nothing to do at campsite but very close to Mundesley so able to go to the beach and there are things you can do around the campsite. There’s also a pub down the road, quite small so be warned. I’m not 100% sure if they had wifi. I can’t remember as I used my 4G but I did run out so if they don’t maybe that’s something they could look into

Disliked: Singular showers

Disliked: Only problem was we had 3 dogs who don't like bangs and gas guns were going of but it is what it is but still pleased with the site

From the manager: Unfortunately the Bird Scarers are on neighbouring farms, so this is out of our control. They are used to scare birds during the daytime to keep them off of the crops while the plants are getting established.

Lovely clean site, lots of space for pitches. Friendly staff. Good facilities.…

Electric grass pitch

Liked: A very spacious, clean and welcoming campsite. We will be returning as we all had a great time. The owners set goal posts up for the boys as soon as they noticed them kicking a ball around. The facilities are new and cleaned regularly.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Beautiful site lots of space parked where we wanted to
Very helpful reception folk
Very clean and well kept facilities
Wood burning kits available to hire (so handy)
Great value
Would highly recommend

Disliked: Too much space made it difficult to choose where to pitch!

So we pitched in two different areas!!

And why not when we had the freedom to do it?!

Local attractions

When it comes to getting stuck into the north Norfolk coast, you might want to get a tick list going…there’s Overstrand beach and Walcott beach to see and crabbing on the pier in Cromer (all within 15 minutes' drive). Keep ticking them off: the lighthouse in Happisburgh (20 minutes), seal spotting at Blakeney Point (40 minutes) and Waxham (35 minutes) or sandy beaches at Sea Palling (half an hour) and Wells-next-the-Sea (55 minutes). The latter has a gorgeous fishing port running seal-watching trips. Inland’s just as excellent. There’s a generous handful of National Trust properties within driving distance, plus ways to get out onto The Broads in Wroxham (half an hour). You might want to board the Bure Valley Railway there or join The North Norfolk Steam Railway in Sheringham (25 minutes). For all you budding historians, Weybourne (half an hour) has the Muckleburgh Military Collection too. Family-friendly ventures are easily sourced, with various entertainments in North Walsham (10 minutes), treetop adventures at BeWILDerwood Norfolk (half an hour) and all the attractions in Great Yarmouth (50 minutes) like Pleasure Beach, Britannia Pier and Sea Life Great Yarmouth.
