Meadow View Camping and Caravan Site

Me gustó Warm and friendly family run campsite. Generous and laid back with space. Very clean toilets and showers, the ground is hard so take drill pegs, but the space and view is so worth it. Quite and beautiful but kid free to play until the sun goes down. Christine is so lovely and accommodating, and the fire pits and marshmallow evenings are the best when available. A great base for the coast, and the coast hopper bus is an easy walk away and stops at the coatal towns and villagea along the way! We've been twice this summer and plan to go back next summer too...

Me gustó Easy to find and the welcome (briefing) was very thorough.
Loads of space and the main village (pub) was less than a 10 minute walk.

Me gustó Great massive pitches, lovely walks around area

No me gustó Only 1 basin wash up area, not enough toilets and showers. Wouldn’t stay here again only because I have 2 dogs and the 1 dog is a mastiff and they are not allowed.

Me gustó Amazing campsite, massive area leaving plenty of pitch space for everyone. Christine the owner was so friendly.

No me gustó Only complaint would be the men's and unisex showers, the intermittent one went cold, and the electric one waves from boiling to freezing.

Me gustó Cute little campsite, Christine and family so lovely and helpful. Only a 7 minute drive to shops and the beach, with free parking at the beach after 6pm! Relaxing, peaceful getaway.

Me gustó The owner was very helpful and welcoming including helping to get my pegs out the ground, the facility’s were really clean and good location as a base for our days out . Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to everyone

Me gustó Lovely site and we had a great week. Here are the positives:
😊 Large pitches, plenty of space (EHU pitch allocated on arrival)
😊 Huge flat field with loads of space to play and football goals
😊 Good clean facilities - never had to wait for toilet or shower. Lovely warm water and heaters available in showers. Also nice space to change with hooks, benches, shelves.
😊 Friendly and helpful owners, on hand if needed but leave you to it after check in
😊 Close to lots of lovely beaches, villages and towns
😊 Check out 12pm plenty of time to pack up (check in 1pm)
😊 Good road access, no road noise from our pitch
😊 Freezer for freezer blocks
😊 Fire pits available - though understandably weren't in use after the recent dry conditions
😊 Good waste and recycling facilities including bin for broken camping equipment
😊 Generally peaceful (apart from our neighbours 🥴) but everyone quiet at night.

No me gustó Only one washing up sink so some queuing for that, but was clean and sheltered.

Me gustó Christine was very helpful when we arrived, thank you. The site is large so nobody was on top of each other and very well maintained. The Crown Inn is 5 minutes walk up the road. Very little outside noise from the road. Worth a visit

No me gustó Nothing apart from an extra sink to wash up in would be handy.

Me gustó The owner was lovely and made sure check in was smooth, we could pitch where we liked and even though she was fully booked there was lots of space. Facilities were always clean, never really had to wait for toilets or showers.
