Μου άρεσε There is a lot to like about this site, I’ll start with Christine, the site owner. Her attitude was fantastic, her communication was spot on, I asked an abundance of questions before we arrived and she was super prompt with a reply and very helpful. Her presence on the site throughout our stay was fantastic, not overpowering but always nearby if you needed her and was always very happy to help. We would return again based on her alone!

The site is laid out well. We had a non-electric pitch and had plenty of space. Which was lovely. We were probably the furthest corner of the site, and the walk to the facilities was no problem.

The facilities themselves were good, clean, never too busy and just what you needed.

The charging lockers were very handy and we used them for the duration of our stay. Bargain as well considering their convenience.

The location of the site was fantastic and we really enjoyed waking up to the views out across the fields.

If you’re due to stay soon, my only advice would be, take a decent hammer and even a claw hammer for your tent pegs. The ground is rock hard from 60 odd days without rain. I spent longer pulling pegs out of the ground than anything else when we left. Although you can buy drill in pegs on site.

We was able to watch the eclipse here during our stay, along with a wonderful meteor shower and to top it off we spotted deer in the field next to our tents which was wonderful

Very recommended and well happy with our stay.

We will be back.

Μου άρεσε Absolutely beautiful place, so much space and really good facilities, very welcoming and lots of information given. Clean and tidy and overall beautiful location with some beautiful surrounding areas and beaches ideal and close to shops if needed.

Δεν μου άρεσε Unfortunately the rule of dogs being kept on leads was not followed either side where we were pitched had more than one dog that was roaming around our tents, when we arrived we had to clear dog poo off our pitch and throughout our stay it was quite clear that the owners let them poo wherever and decided if they would pick it up or not. My only concern around this was my children were playing around the same area so had to be a bit restricted on our pitch.

Από τον διαχειριστή: I am sorry you had this unpleasant experience, it is not acceptable.
Our policy is for dogs to be kept on leads at all times, discouraged from barking and any mess cleared up and disposed of. This is clearly stated in our Site Rules which are on display, on our social media and given to everybody on arrival.

If you had mentioned these issues to us during you 5 night stay we would have spoken to the other parties involved and I would have cleared up any mess, as it is not your responsibility.

Unfortunately if we do not see the issue or are told about it, we are unable to rectify it.

Μου άρεσε We loved this site!!! Christine is lovely and extremely helpful.
The site is well looked after, very spacious and has really clean toilets. The little touches are lovely.
The charging locker was a god send with 3 teenagers with their phones. I can’t recommend this site enough.
Thank you for the best week. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Μου άρεσε Always clean and well stocked facilities. Lovely greeting, great staff who were quick to respond when contacted. Easy laid back site with big electric pitches.

Lots of space.

Our three neighbours were on their third year visiting so that says a lot about the site.

Δεν μου άρεσε Only issue was that our pitch was in the shade in the late afternoon so a little chilly and in full sun the morning, so a little hot. Easy to rectify, if we go again we would pitch with the entrance facing the hedge, therefore giving shade. To be fair to the site, we were there during a heatwave and the hottest day of the year, which is obviously not the norm.

Μου άρεσε We have just come back from a 2 night stay (2 adults and 2 young kids). We honestly could not fault it. Loads of space, toilets and showers were very clean and even though its by the road and a working farm, it was surprisingly quiet. Christine was an absolute saint when our car wouldnt start for our journey home and couldnt havent been more helpful and accommodating. Amazing hosts and we will definitely be back.
