What customers say
This is a family-friendly campsite with spacious pitches and a wide range of facilities including a swimming pool, play areas, and entertainment. Staff are consistently praised as friendly and helpful. While many find the site clean and well-maintained, some guests note that the toilet and shower blocks are dated and could benefit from modernisation. Noise levels, particularly during weekends, are a recurring concern for some visitors seeking a quieter experience.

Disliked Not set up for tents although they advertise it so. Needed a pneumatic drill to get the pegs in

It was not a relaxed stay
Electric grass pitch (large)
Liked Large pitch, lots of bins and taps.
Disliked Rules for one and not another!
Was sited by a warden onto no4 but he didn't instruct no3 and no2 on their incorrect pitching, basically they put both their tents the wrong way using our pitch for guide ropes , their two families were basically including themselves onto our pitch using no 2 to park their cars , we had no privacy as the warden parked us in camper as per rules but no one asked them to pitch correctly . Everyone camping on the 2nd row behind us used our pitch to walk thru , we asked numerous times for them to stop cutting through as we had dog and all our family came for a picnic its was not a pleasant experience, our visiting daughter had her dog who was attacked by another person's dog off a lead, why bother having rules for us and then everyone else just did what they wanted.

Liked Location
Food OK on site
Disliked Warden telling us where and how to set up, on ONE pitch when we paid for 2 pitches with electric, the other warden even said he didn't understand why he had told us to set up as we did, only later on in the day he admitted it was wrong and had been a misunderstanding.
The ground is so rocky we even bent rock pegs, the email received from the campsite actually say not suitable for tents, yet that's where we were put. The toilets at night were disgusting, fair play to the cleaners they were fine in the morning.
The site was full of screaming children racing around on bikes, scooters until late evening, I don't normally say anything but felt this campsite warranted it, they try to run it as a 5 star site, but it falls well short.

Brilliant few days away in a brilliant site
Electric grass pitch (large)
Liked We had a brilliant time here. We were slightly worried as the website seems al rules rules and more rules but when we were there is was very relaxed and everyone was respectful of other campers. Rangers were very chilled and had a good laugh and extremely helpful , nothing was too much to ask, helping us out with a hammer as our mallet wasn’t ideal.
Disliked The ground it very hard and we even struggled with some of our rock pegs so make sure your prepared.

Overall a nice site, would come again if could choose pitch!
Electric grass pitch (large)
Liked Entertainment was good, parks were nice, pitches were a good size, helpful wardens, nice pool, plenty of showers and toilets .
Disliked Pitch was in awful condition, just a dusty stoney patch. Very hard to peg anything in and everything filthy (thank god it didn't rain as it'll turn to a mud bath). There were lots of nicer pitches not in use so a shame to be on a bad one. Showers are push button and last 2-3 seconds per push!
