Fabulous camp site
Electric grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked Very clean site, kids loved the park and footy pitch. My kids likes going into Jaks barn of the evening.
Disliked On the one night the chips seemed a bit stale, but the next night they were good.

Electric grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked Great location an hour outside of wales/chester. Enjoyed the friendly geordies on site and the majority of the staff were helpful and friendly. Big pitch on orange field, lots of parks and farm animals for the kids and a pool. Entertainment was decent, shop onsite and cafe serving good, basic food. Major plus is the campers actually seemed to respect the quiet hours too, maybe the 24/7 wardens and owners on site make some think twice. Overall great experience, would be great for families with little ones.
Disliked Quite a retro vibe, feels like it could do with modernising. Showers I would have appreciated a mixer so you can choose the temperature.

Large campsite suitable for large groups. Very lively.
Electric grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked Pitch space is more than adequate. We camped in dog free zone in orange section. The park was great for the kids and the pool. Although water appeared murky most days. Suitable takeaway on site, not overly expensive same for the shop onsite.
Disliked Toilets! Absolutely disgusting!! Through no fault of the site, how people thinks it’s acceptable to leave toilets is beyond me. Site was too busy for our liking, music being played loudly until after midnight most evenings. Portable showers are not cleaned thoroughly. Parents allow kids to poop in them and it flows through to all showers. Someone took our pitch space which caused further confusion for the family arriving on the Friday. It felt like the attendant was going to ask us to move even though we’d been pitched for 4 days.

Great site. Friendly staff. Flat pitches.
Electric grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked Pitches were well kept. Plenty of toilets and showers. Well stocked shop. Pool system worked well.
Disliked Orange field is a treak to washing up and CD facilities could do with a disposal option so when washing up in the tent you can dispose of the water. Pool was so cold not really heated.

Friendly staff, facilities cleaned regularly, good sized pitches.
Electric grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked Facilities, pitch size and pool.
Disliked Noisey neighbours playing loud music and just being loud into the wee hours for two nights, yet on our third and last night we were asked to turn our music down (that was not that loud tbf) at around 10pm! Wasps nest in park area that we were pitched close to, so inundated with the little blighters.

What customers say
This is a large, well-maintained campsite praised for its friendly and helpful staff, spacious pitches, and excellent facilities for families. Highlights include the outdoor swimming pool, multiple playgrounds, and on-site entertainment. Some guests noted dated toilet blocks and occasional noise from other campers, but many would recommend and return.

A lovely place to stay, we will definitely be back.
Fully-serviced grass and gravel pitch (super)
Liked Lovely site with good facilities, absolutely incredible staff who don't hesitate to help, the wardens were fantastic. Lots of different type of pitches so some would be louder than others. Two good parks for kids and a great ' no photo' policy at the swimming pool. Great area to do washing up.
Disliked It would be nicer to have a longer slot in the pool as 45 minutes isn't that long for a larger family however we appreciate you are trying to accommodate everyone.
