Fantastic family site, friendly staff especially reception and wardens
Non-electric grass pitch (no pets, small)
Liked Fantastic family feel campsite.
Swimming pool
Food places
Plenty of toilet and showers
Playground and animals
Disliked Would be nice if the family bar opened in the day, the adult only bar does, it was extremely hot weather when we went so going inside would have been a nice option.
We did pay for the WiFi which wasn't great in the top field.

Liked Nice big camp site. Bar ladies extremely friendly. Mobile toilet block faily clean
Disliked Cafe staff miserable
Site i would say needs a good bit of attention little to scruffy for me.
Toilet block near the entrance was disgusting.

Don't be fooled terrible site. Badly ran not for families. Portaloo
Non-electric grass pitch (no pets, small)
Liked Pool and pool staff.
Disliked Drug use in club. Noise level and lack of staff of an evening. Setting up confusion. Had to wait to pitch a tent in a marked bay for staff to come and tell me how to pitch. No idea why, ridiculous.
security were needed of an evening, none to be seen, to control drunk, drugged out of control gangs of campers. It is advertised as a family site, but it was for large groups. We left 2 days early I would never return.

A large family friendly site with entertainment but needs investment.
Non-electric grass pitch (no pets, small)
Liked Great to come back with grandchildren after 30 years! Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the manager of JAKKS and the swimming pool. Good communication and organisation and very family friendly. We enjoyed being on the TOP field out of the way and using our bikes to get around. Kids loved the facilities
Disliked It was very very busy and the fields were all occupied as it was good weather in August! The toilets and showers at the top field were just like festival toilets and struggled to cope with the amount of campers. Some people were up until early hours making noise. Perhaps more showers and toilets needed and investments in the cleanliness. Lots of litter - I picked from our field. The 4pm pool slot was too busy but we had it to ourselves at 10am! Could be cleaner but heavily populated.

What customers say
This is a family-friendly campsite with spacious pitches and a wide range of facilities including a swimming pool, play areas, and entertainment. Staff are consistently praised as friendly and helpful. While many find the site clean and well-maintained, some guests note that the toilet and shower blocks are dated and could benefit from modernisation. Noise levels, particularly during weekends, are a recurring concern for some visitors seeking a quieter experience.

Liked Very helpful and friendly staff, very informative. And was told if I needed anything at all 24 hours to call them. Being a single mum this was nice to hear.
Large pitch (orange) close to portable facilities (very clean) an a short walk to permanent facilities.
Good pool, booking system easy to use, shop has a good selection of food, good selection of food throughout the day. Evening entertainment disco an bingo was good. Weekend singer was great too. Prices were reasonable on everything. 2 different play parks for the kids, safe an secure.

Electric grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked A good spacious pitch. Swimming pool and children's playgrounds enjoyed by our grandchildren. Portacabin toilets and showers near our pitch were good.
Disliked If you are in the orange section, quite a long walk to the shop and swimming pool.

Electric grass pitch (large, no pets)
Liked Lovely facilities, well organised and friendly checking - my kids loved seeing the pigs.
Disliked The young lady in the shop was quite short with my daughter who was selecting a toy to buy - no need for that in a family campsite shop. My daughter didn’t tell me until we got outside and I said I’m surprised you didn’t ask for a squishy toy and she said the woman shouted at her. Had I seen it happen I’d have said something.
