What customers say
This well-maintained site offers spacious, level pitches with water and electricity, set against stunning views of a fishing lake and Shropshire hills. Guests praise the peaceful atmosphere, easy walking access to Church Stretton, and excellent local walking opportunities. While facilities are described as basic but clean, some visitors noted a single shower/toilet unit which is also used by day visitors for fishing. Managers have addressed issues regarding bin capacity and toilet lock.

Lovely relaxed stay, we will return soon.
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (members only)
Liked Views and lake are stunning, the owners are lovely and extremely helpfull. Pitches are large and flat, with the plainings working well and are compacted down. We used our own facilities so cannot comment on toilet/shower. We will be returning soon.
Disliked Not a dislike but more a suggestion, the path to the lane along the field is very good but maybe a gate in the corner to avoid having to cross the cattle grid.

Liked Fabulous setting and excellent location. Would happily go back.
Disliked Pitches recently badly tarmacced. Lumpy and smelly. Hopefully it will improve with use. Didnt spoil our time there just had to be cautious in case we trod it into van.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (members only)
Liked Good sized pitches with EHU and water on pitch.
Great views across the lake and mountains/trees.
Quite location.
Disliked Only one toilet/shower/basin for male & female campsite users. (would be nice for separate ladies/gents.
and one separate toilet for fishing use.
The canadian geese are very noisy at 6am in morning, so early wake up call but part of been close to lake....

Excellent in the week. Not so at weekends!!!
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (members only)
Liked Location is amazing. Such beautiful scenery. Owner is lovely knowledge and friendly. A perfect place for a mid week stay. Not a weekend!!!!!
Disliked Weekend, the fisherman arrived. Place is completely different. Groups of lads, not noisy, but rules that are advertised seem to be ignored, our view of the lake from our motorhome got blocked with bivvy tents. Fishing alarms going off every 5 mins. Swearing heard.
The shower facility on a weekend is absolutely filthy compared to a week day. Such a shame else this place is perfect. We will return but mid week only.
