What customers say
This is a highly recommended site for its stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, and spacious pitches. It's ideally located for walking and cycling, with an easy stroll into Church Stretton. Fishing is popular, and owners are friendly and helpful. Facilities are basic but clean and functional, though some feel they could be improved, especially regarding the single shower/toilet and waste disposal. Weekends can be busier with day visitors, but weekdays are very quiet.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (members only)
Liked A lovely 5 pitch CL. All pitches equally lovely with a beautiful view across the fishing lake to the stunning Shropshire hills. Close to the town of Church Stretton with plenty of pubs, restaurants and a nice big Co-op. Toilet and shower on site. A definite ‘will be back’ site.

Would like to find a 5 van site that sticks to what it proclaims to be
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (members only)
Liked The venue and the plumbed in water
Disliked The amount of traffic, vans, overnight vehicles for the fishing. Thought we were on a 5 van site, not 5+1transit with a tent box on top+1 overnight car with occupants + an extra caravan on other side of lake.

The view was beautiful, the pitches…
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (members only)
Liked The view was beautiful, the pitches were large & spacious, the toilet / shower facilities were very clean and well maintained.
The owner took the time out to come and speak to users of the facility, which sadly we missed, but how lovely that time was taken, to show an intertest in the tourers.
Only 0.5 mile from the town, which is a quaint town, with very welcoming cafe owners and publicans.
Top notch site. Definitely recommend for a very peaceful site with stunning views.

Had a great 3 nights, met some lovely people, will return
Electric hardstanding touring pitch (members only)
Liked Great stay lovely view from the pitch, the location was good, nice walk into town and everything there you could need, cafes, pubs, shops, train station etc. Fishing was good. Shower/loo was clean/basic but perfectly fine, could do with just a few hooks as nowhere to hang clothes and a shelf in the shower area for toiletries.
Disliked Nothing to dislike
