What customers say
This well-rated CL site offers lovely views near Church Stretton. Spacious, level pitches with EHU/water are great for walkers and anglers. Basic, clean facilities. Shower upgrades suggested. Weekends busier due to fishing day visitors. Owners are friendly.

A lovely stay spoiled by the comings and goings of those fishing.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked Exceptional views. Hard standing pitches. Water tap on each pitch but shared supply which would be difficult if both caravans had constant feed hoses.
Disliked Very lengthy walk to toilet disposal point then into a portaloo with a self closing door making it very awkward to clean toilet cassette as water supply outside cubicle.
Shared water supply as stated above. Several families coming to fish having portable bbq”s and leaving rubbish and scorch marks in their wake. Portaloo was left in a disgusting state after they left. Fishermen stayed overnight in tents and campervans. If the site is to be shared with large groups this should be stated when booking. CLs are usually peaceful places and should be limited to 5 caravans and no tents/campervans. Such a shame to spoil an idyllic spot. Fishing should be limited to the other side of the lake.

Would definitely return.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked The view, access to local walks, easy access to the A49, the shower/ toilet cabin.
Roomy pitches.
Disliked A little bit of road noise but not enough to drown out the birdsong.
Fishermen come and use the lake but they don’t come close to the pitching area.
A little shelf for soap/ shampoo in the shower would have been handy.

Liked Fantastic view and location, large pitches with ehu and tap for each. Flat pitches and no fishermen in front.
