Negativ Nothing really but if I had to say one thing it would be lack of grass next to pitch but that’s only because I’d prefer to site on grass than hard standing

Positiv Lovely big pitch facing the beautiful carp lake, great walks direct from site up Caer Caradoc or into Church Stretton with its lovely shops, inns and a Thai restaurant which is superb. Such a peaceful site, owner really helpful - will definitely return

Positiv Brilliant setting with view over the lake towards the mountain. Great to have water and EHU on each pitch. Plenty of room on each pitch. Gravel hard standing well prepared. Friendly owners. Lakeside shared with fishermen who were mostly conscious of not imposing themselves on top of others.

Positiv Beautiful location, very peaceful with wonderful views. Fishing available all day/night. Owners friendly and welcoming. 5 camper/caravan pitches.
Walks straight from campsite. 1 mile flat walk into Church Stretton where you can find a range of local shops and pubs.
We stayed mid week so found general public fishing quiet, not sure how busy it would be on weekends. We would return.

Negativ 1 cubicle offered toilet and shower facilities. Very basic.

Positiv Great size pitch. Fantastic views and great for walking. Short walk into Church Stretton. Shower was fine, plenty of hot water. Would definitely use again if in the area, and maybe take my fishing rods.

Positiv Very nice place with lovely views very quiet, if you fir escape to the nature its a great place fishing, hiking and relating all of this you get there.

Positiv This must be one of the better CL sites with excellent pitches, wonderful views and useful toilet & shower block. The location is also excellent being only a 20 minute walk into beautiful Church Stretton. We will definitely be returning.

Positiv This site is in a really lovely location with absolutely stunning views. The short walk into Church Stretton is a bonus as well as there being a train station for easy travel especially as we have a motorhome and no car.

The pitches are large hard standing with plenty of room between pitches.

Negativ The toilet and shower. It’s ok but I hate the hand towel as everyone shares it. I think paper towels would be much better.

I’ve not used the shower.

Also the hard standing is ok but it’s quite rough so best to cover it with a ‘carpet’ so you don’t walk it inside .

Positiv Surroundings are stunning.
Easy 15 minutes walk into church stretton which is achieved by walking to far end of site and through gate up to the lane and going right.
Easy access directly off a49 and huge sign identifying site.
Only 5 pitches which overlook the fishing lake and are very large.
Two toilets which were clean during our stay.
Pitch in any available space which is great as saves time waiting.
Visit from owner which was a lovely touch.
Early check in of 12 noon.
Could not ask for more.

Negativ Was only there for 1 night. Will definitely be back for longer next time.

Good sized well looked after pitches with electric and water
Conveniently positioned for walking into the village via rural footpath
Lovely walks for all levels including a scenic forest
Very peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to relax and unwind

We had a great stay and will definitely return
