Em va agradar Beautiful location, very peaceful with wonderful views. Fishing available all day/night. Owners friendly and welcoming. 5 camper/caravan pitches.
Walks straight from campsite. 1 mile flat walk into Church Stretton where you can find a range of local shops and pubs.
We stayed mid week so found general public fishing quiet, not sure how busy it would be on weekends. We would return.

Em va agradar Great size pitch. Fantastic views and great for walking. Short walk into Church Stretton. Shower was fine, plenty of hot water. Would definitely use again if in the area, and maybe take my fishing rods.

Em va agradar This must be one of the better CL sites with excellent pitches, wonderful views and useful toilet & shower block. The location is also excellent being only a 20 minute walk into beautiful Church Stretton. We will definitely be returning.

Em va agradar This site is in a really lovely location with absolutely stunning views. The short walk into Church Stretton is a bonus as well as there being a train station for easy travel especially as we have a motorhome and no car.
The pitches are large hard standing with plenty of room between pitches.
No em va agradar The toilet and shower. It’s ok but I hate the hand towel as everyone shares it. I think paper towels would be much better.
I’ve not used the shower.
Also the hard standing is ok but it’s quite rough so best to cover it with a ‘carpet’ so you don’t walk it inside .

Em va agradar Surroundings are stunning.
Easy 15 minutes walk into church stretton which is achieved by walking to far end of site and through gate up to the lane and going right.
Easy access directly off a49 and huge sign identifying site.
Only 5 pitches which overlook the fishing lake and are very large.
Two toilets which were clean during our stay.
Pitch in any available space which is great as saves time waiting.
Visit from owner which was a lovely touch.
Early check in of 12 noon.
Could not ask for more.

A lovely stay spoiled by the comings and goings of those fishing.

Em va agradar Exceptional views. Hard standing pitches. Water tap on each pitch but shared supply which would be difficult if both caravans had constant feed hoses.
No em va agradar Very lengthy walk to toilet disposal point then into a portaloo with a self closing door making it very awkward to clean toilet cassette as water supply outside cubicle.
Shared water supply as stated above. Several families coming to fish having portable bbq”s and leaving rubbish and scorch marks in their wake. Portaloo was left in a disgusting state after they left. Fishermen stayed overnight in tents and campervans. If the site is to be shared with large groups this should be stated when booking. CLs are usually peaceful places and should be limited to 5 caravans and no tents/campervans. Such a shame to spoil an idyllic spot. Fishing should be limited to the other side of the lake.
