New House Farm Certificated Location

Ik was blij met This site is in a really lovely location with absolutely stunning views. The short walk into Church Stretton is a bonus as well as there being a train station for easy travel especially as we have a motorhome and no car.

The pitches are large hard standing with plenty of room between pitches.

Ik was niet blij met The toilet and shower. It’s ok but I hate the hand towel as everyone shares it. I think paper towels would be much better.

I’ve not used the shower.

Also the hard standing is ok but it’s quite rough so best to cover it with a ‘carpet’ so you don’t walk it inside .

Ik was blij met Surroundings are stunning.
Easy 15 minutes walk into church stretton which is achieved by walking to far end of site and through gate up to the lane and going right.
Easy access directly off a49 and huge sign identifying site.
Only 5 pitches which overlook the fishing lake and are very large.
Two toilets which were clean during our stay.
Pitch in any available space which is great as saves time waiting.
Visit from owner which was a lovely touch.
Early check in of 12 noon.
Could not ask for more.

Amazing location and scenery
Good sized well looked after pitches with electric and water
Conveniently positioned for walking into the village via rural footpath
Lovely walks for all levels including a scenic forest
Very peaceful and relaxing, the perfect place to relax and unwind

We had a great stay and will definitely return

Ik was blij met Exceptional views. Hard standing pitches. Water tap on each pitch but shared supply which would be difficult if both caravans had constant feed hoses.

Ik was niet blij met Very lengthy walk to toilet disposal point then into a portaloo with a self closing door making it very awkward to clean toilet cassette as water supply outside cubicle.
Shared water supply as stated above. Several families coming to fish having portable bbq”s and leaving rubbish and scorch marks in their wake. Portaloo was left in a disgusting state after they left. Fishermen stayed overnight in tents and campervans. If the site is to be shared with large groups this should be stated when booking. CLs are usually peaceful places and should be limited to 5 caravans and no tents/campervans. Such a shame to spoil an idyllic spot. Fishing should be limited to the other side of the lake.

Ik was blij met The view, access to local walks, easy access to the A49, the shower/ toilet cabin.
Roomy pitches.

Ik was niet blij met A little bit of road noise but not enough to drown out the birdsong.
Fishermen come and use the lake but they don’t come close to the pitching area.
A little shelf for soap/ shampoo in the shower would have been handy.

Ik was blij met Lovely CL site. Quiet and peaceful with wonderfull views. Excellent walks directly from site. Easy walk to pubs/shops/restaurants etc. Friendly and helpful owners.
