What customers say
Visitors praise this recently renovated campsite for its spacious pitches, stunning views of Rutland Water, and exceptionally clean, modern toilet and shower facilities, often described as hotel-standard. Staff are consistently noted as friendly and helpful. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some guests have noted minor issues such as a lack of cold water in the bathrooms for teeth brushing, insufficient hooks in shower cubicles, and occasional queues for facilities during peak times. A few guests experienced issues with refunds for cancelled stays due to refurbishment in June 2026.

Stunning views, loads of space and great facilities. We’d stay again!
Electric grass pitch
Liked Stunning views and loads of space. The toilets, showers and washing up area were all really nice and clean. The electric hookup was great too, with 8kWh included which was plenty for us.
Disliked We only stayed for one night, but after driving up to the campsite and having a couple of mile walk around, there didn’t seem to be any convenience shops or small local pubs close enough to walk to within 15–20 minutes. I wouldn’t really say this is a dislike as such, but definitely worth noting that you may need to drive or bike to places.
The campsite also uses a third party app called Metpow for the electric hookup. Although 8kWh was included in the price of our stay, £4 was taken from our account when it should have only been a holding fee. The campsite were really helpful though and were happy to look into this for us.
