Positiv The general area was very nice. There was a good view of and access to Rutland Water. Everything appeared clean and up to date. Staff were very friendly, helpful and amenable. All the customers we spoke with were very nice.

Negativ No hardstanding pitches available. The Metpow App was a bit of a faff. It didn't work at first (nor for our neighbours). I had to get a member of staff to adjust something on their computer to get it to work. Not a great deal of room in the showers to get dressed afterwards. Just a stool and two hooks to hang dry clothes and towel on. The only washbasins available were in the general open area. The chemical toilet emptying area was fairly unpleasant.

Positiv Lovely drive onto the site, staff member came out to welcome us at barrier and explained where we was to park up. Looked a very clean and well kept site.
Parked up and had to download the met power app as we had an EHU grass pitch, sorted pretty quickly you get 8kw per day in with the price of the stay. The view was good, shower/toilet block only one onsite think there was 5/6 female toilets and around 4 showers (which were amazing), might have been more but that’s all we noticed, and assuming mens side was the same, please be aware the windows in the bathrooms are tinted but you can see straight through them both ways, you can’t see the showers but you can see the urinals through the men’s window.
Good walks down to the water, lots of wildlife and when we left we noticed a pub and cafe about a 5 minute walk.
We wasn’t told where the elsan point was so watched where people was going with the cassettes, it’s at the back of the shower block, you can’t drive to it so have to carry it over. We will definitely return

Negativ A booklet/information of the site where everything is and what’s around.
A tea/coffee room would be good in reception, it’s huge and there’s just a desk with 2 people sat there.

Positiv Friendly service, accessible site and super well maintained facilities. A great site for our first Campervan pitch, highly recommended.

Negativ As new campers, it was generally a fab place. Only improvement to suggest is that we were a little confused where to pitch up when first arrived, and maybe a marked way to the sluice area on the way out.

Negativ Could do with some smaller waste areas and facilities dotted around as depending where u r on the site they can be quite a walk

Positiv The toilet and shower room were spotless at all times, both day and night. The people at reception were very friendly and helpful. The site was also regularly checked to ensure everyone’s safety. Overall, a very clean, friendly, and well-maintained place.

Outstanding customer service and value for money.
Facilities are looked after and have exceptional showers, toilets and water stations.
