What customers say

This holiday park offers a great value for money with friendly staff and well-maintained grounds. Visitors praised the spacious pitches, good amenities, and a wide range of activities for children, including a popular swimming pool. The on-site food and restaurant deals were also highlighted positively. However, a significant number of guests reported issues with the cleanliness and condition of the touring toilet and shower blocks, with some describing them as outdated and unhygienic. This was the most frequently mentioned negative aspect.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (large)

Liked The site overall was delightful with ample space for the caravan and car. Also the hedgerows were well maintained. We loved the many lakes with the assortment of wildlife that were very tame and geese that held the traffic up whilst they crossed the road to the other lake. Although sadly we didn't get an opportunity to use the swimming pool, it looked very inviting and well managed. A lovely site for children with some entertaining play equipment.

Disliked We disliked the fact that some of the plumbing was virtually unusable with the drinking water pipe not having a tap on the end and being loose in the wall, and the toilets did not flush the effluent at times. It was also disappointing that the adult entertainment on average did not start until 9pm so we did not get to view that. There was lots of extra entertainment that looked very impressive but was expensive to use especially when you are working to a budget.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (large)

Liked Great size park for walking the dog , half hour walk to town / beach. Buses stop in the park if wanted. Grounds kept well, touring pitches good size

Disliked Touring / camping toilets, want ripping out and starting again... oh and regular checks. Tiles coming off walls, not cleaned , no toilet roll, shower water temperature had a mind of if own . 2 shower cubical only in the gents, for say a park that holds 100 touring / camping/ camper van units ? There is a bath but not sure there is many who fancy laying in there. Massively let the stay down . Worst site toilet / showers I've used. Yes I know people staying there let it down by not cleaning up after them selves but can just see and tell they aren't cleaned regular any way . 1 soap dispenser in the toilet and 1 hand dryer .

Local attractions

It's but a 10-minute drive to the sands of Skeggy from Southview Leisure Park for seaside days out on its beach, along its pier and whooping among the rides of Skegness Pleasure Beach. If you're new to dipping a wetsuit-clad toe in the water, have a waterskiiing or kitesurfing lesson at Skegness Water Leisure Park. At Skeggy you'll also find Natureland Seal Sanctuary, and the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve to the resort's south, one of the best places on the Lincolnshire coast to see gulls, waders and wildfowl. (If it's seals you want to see, go north to the Donna Nook National Nature Reserve between Grainthorpe Haven in the north and Saltfleet.) Four miles from Skegness is Ingoldmells, another Lincolnshire seaside town that's a hit with families, mainly because of its theme park Fantasy Island where record breakers can try Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster and the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster or, more calmly, browse the massive indoor market, open seven days a week. Driving north from Skegness leads to other fun family resorts like Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe, also topping for days out, or go inland for the Lincolnshire Wolds and food/antiques/gift shopping at Lincolnshire's market towns like Alford, Horncastle and Louth.
