If you too are somewhat fond of Lincolnshire's seaside capital Skegness, how sensible would it be to stay within a couple of miles of it – and on a family holiday park with loads to do, thoroughly modern facilities and a club to send the kids off to during the day? Pack the kids off to make friends and stay busy with the Starland Krew while you make the most of the facilities for grownups: two fishing lakes, a nine-hole golf course, indoor pool, sauna and spa pool… You might also rather fancy a wander around the acres of landscaped parkland, perhaps hiding with a book until kids' club is over? Southview Leisure Park has lots of entertainment including cabaret, shows and tribute acts in the evening at the Lakeside Showbar; if you're still hankering after a quieter vibe, sail into the Boathouse bar and restaurant for a cocktail or a meal, or pick up a classic seaside dinner at the fish and chip shop.

Não gostou Toilet and shower block very outdated. Mould in showers. Toilets that don't flush and no toilet paper.

Gostou The staff were welcoming on arrival and friendly though out our stay.
Good entertainment including bingo and a very good arcade choice of games.
Bus into skegness on camp.
Outdoor activities available to book.
Free swimming.

Não gostou Toilets and shower unit for tourer guests are absolutely shocking. They are cleaned however full of mold and dirt they need revamping.
Some guests are inconsiderate for bed time and children.
Arcade game prizes are topped up in morning only and gone you 8pm. Hedges need cutting back. Activities are expensive for guests with multiple children.

reported men’s toilet been blocked, had to report it again and 1st report wasn’t logged so it was very smelly, they didn’t seem to care about touring site as it wasn’t cleaned every day

Não gostou Touring toilets are more like playground for the kids to run in and out flooding them by blocking with toilet roll toilets were very unclean and mould over shower cubicles rubbish left stacked behind bins and left at pitches and not cleaned up also after paying in full to pitch up another £24.00 was debited out my account with no explanation would not return

Gostou Pitches were clean and tidy with plenty of room

Não gostou Shower and toilet block were disgusting! In the two days we were there I never saw them cleaned once.

Gostou First time I’ve stayed at Parkdean and can honestly say it’s so much cleaner and nicer environment than haven, I saw girls picking up litter and bins emptied , all conifers well maintained and receptionist was very helpful. Food at the restaurant and chicken shed was very good to.

Não gostou Left my shower gel in block and someone stole it :)

It's but a 10-minute drive to the sands of Skeggy from Southview Leisure Park for seaside days out on its beach, along its pier and whooping among the rides of Skegness Pleasure Beach. If you're new to dipping a wetsuit-clad toe in the water, have a waterskiiing or kitesurfing lesson at Skegness Water Leisure Park. At Skeggy you'll also find Natureland Seal Sanctuary, and the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve to the resort's south, one of the best places on the Lincolnshire coast to see gulls, waders and wildfowl. (If it's seals you want to see, go north to the Donna Nook National Nature Reserve between Grainthorpe Haven in the north and Saltfleet.) Four miles from Skegness is Ingoldmells, another Lincolnshire seaside town that's a hit with families, mainly because of its theme park Fantasy Island where record breakers can try Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster and the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster or, more calmly, browse the massive indoor market, open seven days a week. Driving north from Skegness leads to other fun family resorts like Sutton-on-Sea and Mablethorpe, also topping for days out, or go inland for the Lincolnshire Wolds and food/antiques/gift shopping at Lincolnshire's market towns like Alford, Horncastle and Louth.
