Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Nice location, easy to get to and to find the place. Check-in was easy. The gents had no loo roll or soap when I visited. Kids next door had no repect to bounderys kicking their ball at my van and running around with my hook-up that they could trip over. I am unaware if they have a quiet pitch. And to bear in mind there is a train that travels past this campsite often bearing its horn. Just wish the family had better manners.

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked The views, sunset/sunrise, lake, and loads of walking in nature at your doorstep. Only 15/20 mins to walk to the bus stop; mind you have to cross the duel carryway if you want to go into Nottingham.
Disliked Not the campsite's fault, but the road that leads to it has hidden speed bumps; just be aware of that. The field is not flat.

Liked The location, nature, wildlife.
In a lovely location, very little traffic. Surrounded by nature and lots of wildlife.
Almost like wild camping, has tap water and only 3 pitches. Well looked after and maintained.

Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Great location, very peaceful and quiet, away from main busy road. Almost in the middle of nowhere. Great place to switch off and enjoy the nature. Great walks nearby too. I would recommend getting there via Jerusalem Ln, due to narrow widey road. Met the host lovely Lady.
Disliked Things to take in mind, you will not get any signal on site, (there is if you go out for a walk.) Only two portaloo might be an issue when it at peak time. Its not level in some places. Pricy.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely small areas of hard/grass pitches with/without hookups. Was easy to find, nice two big bin sizes, two sink to wash your plates in. Two showers and three toilets male, female and male/female all have hot running water as well as cold. It kept clean every morning. Easy to check in from the main building. All staffs on site and in farm were lovely and friendly. Was quiet when I stayed there lovely views too. And lovely few places to hike too. Will be back.
Disliked Only issue i had was the shower block is small, doors open inwards and wet floor, trousers got wet when getting changed, it just the water gets everywhere. No fault of the staff it just poor designed.

Liked There is more then one pitching areas, so you have options, nice little bar for food and drinks (unsure if it open durring non events times and i arrived late and left early so didnt get the chance to explore. The best part of going there is the stunning view!!
Disliked Like a maze, easy to get lost if arrived at night. One pitch where I parked up had dog poos. There is a long term stayers. Not deaf friendly as when I arrived, mange to find my way to what I thought was a rectiopnton to check my self in. No one there and said to call a number which I can't do, found a mobile number and fb so sent them a message but never heard back from.
