Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch (large)
Liked Great site, we were allocated an open pitch and asked for one against the bushes which they gladly give us, only down side of that was having to walk onto the wet grass all the time (can’t please some people 😆)
Great clean facilities very quiet.
Disliked Found that if you stayed in the shower room too long the sensor lights turned off.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked We really enjoyed staying at this camp site, location was spot on to walk into Chedder, where there’s a few nice bakery’s and lovely pub that did fantastic food and a Sainsbury’s.
Toilets and showers spot on, we stayed in an heatwave so we definitely made the most of the facilities, even though there wasn’t that many it was never a problem.
Highly recommend this site, I’d definitely return.

Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Everything, fabulous facilities, nice surroundings, friendly people.
About a 20 min walk to Ainsdale and the train station through the housing estate, bus stop near by if wanting to get to Liverpool via bus but this takes about an hour as it goes through Formby, Crosby and Bootle. Train took approximately 35 mins and was much more pleasant journey, but more expensive.
Sparrow hawk public house just a short walk away, beautiful building and food looked delicious, but we didn’t eat but definitely will next time.
Lovely beech in Ainsdale that you can drive on to and go for walks, or chill if weathers on you side.
Throughly enjoyed our stay and definitely will go back.
Good Wi-Fi throughly our stay.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Second visit to this site, first one being in our tent, this time we were in our camper van, we where on the same pitch as first time (1) when it was much dryer then it was this time, pitch was pretty water logged, very friendly owner who give my partner lots of useful advice with us been new to the van life, we do love this site and Rippingdon in general, we got the bus to Halifax and there’s some great local pubs!
Disliked Only the two shower/toilet blocks absolutely no problem this time but would be more so when busier.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Second visit to this site, visited with my 7 year old granddaughter, lovely and clean facitites, flat large pitches, we spent three nights, Wednesday and Thursday been very quiet Friday very busy with young families but place had a nice friendly atmosphere, children playing and enjoy themselves, all quiet by nightfall.
Loved the burgers/ hotdogs and garlic potatoes bought off the bbq on Friday night.
Great location for visiting the area, Tesco few minutes away in car.
Disliked Nothing, though we did prefer the quieter nights.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked Great site, we booked two tent pitch’s that where adjacent, right next to the toilet block, people passing all the time but not an issue, toilets and showers was clean and although the camp was busy they where always available, nice and friendly buzz to the place as it was lovely weather over the weekend everyone was out having bbqs and using fire pits. About a thirty minute walk to Hornsea down the bridle path, overall we had a fabulous weekend and would 100% recommend.

Electric grass and earth pitch
Liked Lovely little site, good location for exploring the local area, good selection of toilet:showers facilities spread in different areas of the site, loved the chickens roaming around!
Disliked Road noise and low helicopters over site from local army base early evening, not a major issue cause it’s something you don’t see everyday and all quiet by bedtime.
Chickens very vocal but again no issue.

Electric grass campervan or tent pitch (large)
Liked Lovely spacious camping pitches.
Good location.
Good washing facilities, microwave etc
Disliked Toilets/ shower block could do with some updating, shower cubicles really really small when using the shower after someone else the condensation all over tiles made everything wet when hung on the hooks, or when leaning on the wall.
