Liked Great facilities and also has a really rural feel about the place. Chickens and the odd kid (baby goat) wandering around. Lovely walks locally and a barn for a shindig later. DEFINATELY would return

Liked Facilities are lovely, new and plenty of them. Staff onsite were so friendly and helpful and went the extra mile for us, even gave us a jump start in our van, with a smile. Great little shop and the pool was easily accessible with a shower too. Easy accessibility to tissington trail straight from the site so safe for kids. Lots of varying accommodations mean that older members of the family can stay in a beautiful caravan and not miss out

Disliked Wi-Fi was expensive but free in certain areas of the site, but on reflection we had better quality time with our teenager 😊 he was more ‘present!’

Liked Great meals in the pub, especially for the larger appetite ! Lovely people running the bar and campsite, very accommodating and great communication about our visit. we were made very welcome with the locals too. Beautiful scenery and local walks from the site. Good size pitch with picnic bench. Nice enclosed play park at the pub with picnic benches

Liked What a friendly site, all staff and seasonal residents are lovely and chatty, really felt welcome. Shower room is ok, two showers and 3 loos. Lovely walk to lakes and pub onsite, and along the nearby canal, beautiful! Safe site, gates are shut at night

Disliked When in the shower, the light kept getting turned off by residents as there is a sign by tbe door, lights need to be on a sensor system. If on hard stand, bring good pegs!

Liked Plenty to do on the village, nice clean, quiet site. Great little shop, nice big shower block

Disliked No place to play ball games for the children. Activities on the village were a little expensive

We have a huge field opposite the reception block that has football nets and plenty of space for all ball games on this field. We don't allow ball games near caravans as they have been damaged in the past. We hope to see you again soon...
