Liked Dipple farm is an oasis for those that are looking to camp on a site where the owners care & think of the environment while providing a beautiful field with space & views to embrace. Lovely showers, clean compostable toilets & organised washing up area make camping very easy. Driving there from Bridport is simple & you end up in what feels like somewhere very special & unique to be greeted by welcoming dogs, chickens & swallows swooping over the field. This is camping as it should & can be if approached with thought & care - many thanks

Liked Oakwood marina is very easy to find and convenient to motorway and stunning countryside On arrival your greeted with a friendly welcome and information before all your camping gear is whisked off on the quad to your spacious site Overlooking the canal, reed beds with geese, kestrels and a hunting owl as company, this is a special place to relax and enjoy nature but still have access to a cafe, hot showers and cleaning facilities if you wish You couldn’t feel more welcome and I just wish I could have had a few more days to explore or just watch the ever changing sky - many thanks

Liked From contacting Eva to ask if we could arrive early and getting a resounding yes I knew we were heading to a welcoming site. It was easy to find and very clear signage set out a few inclusive instructions and barrows provided made getting to the spacious, level pitch. The no cars on site kept retained a very natural feel and with swallows, kites and swifts wheeling overhead, we quickly relaxed into the beautiful calm surroundings. A wonderfully stocked ‘pantry’ with local honey, eggs and sweet treats was a gorgeous addition and just added to the welcome and sharing feel. Very well presented compost toilets kept with the natural feel of the site and they were set in dry, gravelled area. We will return as the site was so relaxing and welcoming we didn’t leave site until absolutely needing to so didn’t get to the Kelmarsh tunnels or the local pub.

Liked Greeted with warm welcome and everything very clear about site. Pitch itself was perfect for 4 person tent with views which inspired. A beautiful, relaxed and environmentally aware site which is confirmation you don’t need to provide a small village with camping just compost toilets, calm and leave as much natural beauty to complete the stay. Disliked Constant noise throughout day and night which on investigation turned out to be 2 large quarries just over the hill. This quite ruined the tranquility of the site
