Liked Nice level pitches and not too many of 'em, which we like a lot. Even on a V cold March the site was a good place to be - ponds, Canada and greylag geese, duck + coot. Town a very easy + level walk with chippy, Chinese, deli + a choice of pubs. Happy days! Toilet block/showered/pot wash spotless. Choice of ponds for coarse fishing if that's your thing. Also just 30 min drive to coast, and we noticed a few local public footpaths for walks too. Onsite owner/managers chatty + helpful! 👍 We paid full price, but have since discovered offers are available so check it out online... we'd most def go back!

Disliked V little -ve to say really. Nice if waste could be a wee bit closer but that would only affect very few pitches tbh. Hose for Elsan being relocated to improve convenience IS ALREADY IN HAND but that's just being petty as I really AM struggling with a dislike...🤣🤣

Liked Good pitches, h/standing + grass, all hooked up. Small quiet adult site with fishery if you want it. Friendly + helpful owner. Yes, services are limited, but only there for one night + still saw barn owl, egret, heron + bats in the area. 👍 Would not hesitate to recommend or use again...

Disliked NOTE: been told later Brooklands is no longer officially CL rated but unable to confirm this HOWEVER, we don't care as it's such a cool wee site with helpful chatty owners. 👍

Liked Admit it depends what you're looking for, though Butter Hill is Def 5* for us! Yes, expensive for facilities offered tbh BUT... Small/quiet. Decent size level pitches. H²0 + leccy on all pitches. Pub over the road (does food) V friendly + chatty owners.😎 Dog friendly. Lots of nice stuff around. Curious to see it in summer + would use again. Thanks for having us! 👍
