Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely away from it all site with fabulous Mountain View’s. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the region. Wi-Fi available at the pitch was a real bonus and the campsite facilities are good. The thermal spa in Ax Les Thermes was a special treat. If you turn right out of the campsite and follow the mountain road towards Rouze it is a spectacular drive.
Disliked Loved everything!

Electric optional grass touring caravan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Everything! A pretty little site in a beautiful setting with excellent hosts. the hypermarket is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. There is a high level of trust and good facilities. Rubbish disposal is clearly marked and everything is recycled. Free wifi access near to the bar was a bonus. Fabulous experience.

Electric grass pitch
Liked The site was lively with things to do but still retained a peaceful and relaxing element. Nice pitches with the majority offering some shade. All staff were friendly and helpful and someone is always available. Lovely holiday location but somewhat busier than we remember from 10 years ago!

Electric optional forest floor pitch
Liked Very pretty setting in the mountains.
Disliked I am a very positive person and usually do not complain but it was difficult to find a positive for this site. It was an horrendous route which was not suited to towing a caravan. The entrance too and from the site is very difficult to negotiate and due to pot holes in the road the back of the caravan caught on exit. If the site had a few people staying and the facilities were up to date it would have off-set the stress of the journey but it just was not worth it. The village is deserted and the campsite is too. It is very run down and feels uncared for. We would never contemplate the pool as it had green slime on the bottom. Very sad as it was clearly once a nice place but now it has no sole and is very unloved. The caravan in the next pitch had been left to rot away and the facilities were heading the same way. For the current standard of the site it is very expensive. The site owner was friendly and helpful but that was the only good point. We paid for 2 nights in advance and only stayed for 1. In 25 years of caravanning we have never done that before. We love a remote site but this felt vulnerable and abandoned. Sorry to say it but dont book this site as you will be disappointed. The photos on the website must have been taken years ago!

From the manager: The elderly couple have probably thought camping was plain and not at 900 meters altitude and mountain roads have scared them. They arrived late and only stayed one night and allow themselves to say that the site is run down and the pool with green slime on the bottom? The campground is rustic as shown on the first page of the website of camping and surrounded by nature. The caravans are old but functional and the water of the swimming pool is very clear as you will see from the video of the summer 2016 that will be on the website of the campsite. I advise them not to exceed 300 meters above sea level in the future and go in campgrounds classified 4 stars by paying the full price.
