Liked The grounds were lovely, and the lakes stunning. Our pitch was really nice as we set up under a lovely big willow tree.

Disliked The facilities are really poor and they were grubby and unclean - to the point you didn't want to go over and use them. They desperately need to be upgraded but even a deep clean would improve them. The smell was so bad in the toilets (urine) that you smelt of it on your clothes when you returned to your pitch. The whole experience of the toilets and showers was just grim. There was also a very discrimitive sign up in the toilets on the notice board saying - our pitch prices are for 1 family only (Mother, Father and their children". It's 2026, there are many different types of families these days. It's such a shame as this could be a really lovely site but the facilities let it down massively.

Liked Lovely site, extremely well maintained and very clean. The shower block is very good and is always clean and smells nice. Lovely site right next to the canal with its very own fishing lake for those who like to fish. Very peaceful location

Liked Lovely little site which is very well maintained. There is a great off lead dog area! All the facilities were lovely and clean. And had the personal touch. This site put some of the other sites we stayed at recently to shame The owner was very helpful on our arrival and gave us a lovely tour of the site and told us all the best places to go. Would most definitely recommend and we would most definitely stay there again

Liked The views and beach were stunning.

Disliked The camping facilities were absolutely awful! Toilets not working/blocked. Sinks not working/blocked (plugs stuck in the sink). Shower block was like something out of the 60’s so dated and poorly maintained. Showers were shocking with water coming on and off. Mould everywhere and cobwebs and spiders. Soaps were often not filled up which meant that most of the time you couldn’t wash your hands after going to the toilet. It was 50/50 if the sink worked and if it did if there were any soap. Washing up facilities were really dated and poor, not even a plug to put in the sink to wash up. The site is also very poorly signposted.

Liked What a lovely site and a lovely location. The site was so quiet (adults only) The site is right on the river and also it has a large fishing lake. Toilets and showers are the cleanest and modern i have ever seen The owner couldn't be more helpful We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.
