Sitting in a pretty spot on Cornwall's stunning Atlantic Coast, The Headland Caravan and Camping Park is a family-friendly site on the outskirts of Tintagel. The Headland Caravan and Camping Park has plenty of amenities to make your stay here comfy, including well-maintained toilets and showers for ladies and gents, chemical disposal points, a washing-up room, a play area and a reception. Local attractions

Staying in this part of Cornwall could involve a visit to nearby Boscastle (15 minutes' drive), home to a historic harbour, a great fish and chip shop, a farm shop selling local produce and the pretty Pentargon Waterfall. Driving a few miles in the other direction will take you right to the centre of Port Isaac (25 minutes), a small and typically Cornish fishing village that's well known for its fresh seafood. Further afield in Cornwall, you could call in at the Eden Project (50 minutes), hike across the wilds of Bodmin Moor (half an hour), wander around surfers' paradise in Newquay (an hour) or see the south coast of the county at coastal villages like Looe or Polperro (both about an hour and 10 minutes). One of the great things about Tintagel is that, while in Cornwall, it's also within easy driving distance of top Devon day trips. These include the seaside resort of Bude (30 minutes) with its several different beaches, Tamar Lakes Activity Centre (45 minutes) for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding or fishing and the historic village of Clovelly (an hour).
