Liked friendly staff toilet and showers were very clean and hot food and drink at good priced

Disliked i have some mobility issues found the fishing lakes very steep i stuggled to fish could do with alittle platform at the swims

Disliked Cafe and bar was not open as advertised on line we arrived Saturday had to drive to Tesco to get some food

Disliked we arrived at reception spoke to a lady at the desk about my medical needs very unhelpful when i said i needed to be near toillets she said you will see them when you go to your pitch when we got to our pitch it was wet and along way from toilets deciided to go and get fish and chips from chip shop on site ask for fish and chips and scampie and chips the fish was the size of palm of your hand charged £30.00 RIP off drove 2 hours to get there stayed 1 hour went home

From the manager: You booked to arrive here on the Saturday 3rd of January after which had been a very busy Christmas & New Year all the guests had been and gone after the Christmas holidays to get back to work or normality. You were contacted firstly on messenger about the weather conditions asking if you would like to cancel or move your booking on to another date. You were then phoned by a member of staff to ask you again, you said no it was all fine and that you was a experienced fisherman who was quite used to being outside in the cold and knew how to boil a kettle. You then called and booked a table for Saturday evening you both had scampi & chips, came in ate your food and left, you could have come and sat by the log fire had a coffee or a drink and a chat. my bar & wating staff felt you wanted to left alone. You also booked a table for Sunday lunch I reserved a table for you, I was fully booked, (last Sunday of the holidays), with a waiting list, you did not show up or cancel and we tried to call you to make sure you were ok, you rejected the calls and then turned your phone off. It is not a secret that this site is self check in, sorry no meet & greet..
