Liked nice basic campsite with good walking tracks from the site. Pity most of them aren´t marked, but using a map you can make do.
Disliked Depends on other camper groups. It can be a great peaceful site or very noisy with loud music etc. if you are unfortunate to choose a date with a group of people having a party.

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked The site is situated on the edge of the forest of dean, with fantastic access to miles of walks. Vince, the owner was available if any questions. The separate garage / shed area was great for when needing to shelter from the weather. If you want to see Wild Deer, Wild Boar, rabbits and many more, this is the site for you.
Owls hooting also. You can immerse yourself in the wonderful wildlife of England.

Damson non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked A real gem of a site. Farm animals, small pond with fish and on the edge of the Wyre Forest. The rear Whitty Pear tree within walking distance also. Farm eggs also. Hardcore pitches and plenty of grass. Lots of water points.
Disliked Slight traffic noise from the main road, but this died down after 10pm. The field is slopping in some areas, but nothing major. We were unfortunate enough to visit at the same time as a large family, with rude children, but the way some people raise their children isn't the fault of the site, who were lovely.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked located in a lovely area with walks locally. Local pub is just a short walk via the road or footpath, with great service and food. We found the site very quiet with lots of wildlife.
Disliked Only 2 areas to access electric. The owner was very helpful with getting 2 extension leads to stretch from the farm.
Slopping field, difficult to get the van level.
Large Bull in next field. The site has a public footpath at the bottom of the field, next to the road. The footpath leads to the next field with the bull, next to the site. Luckily you can avoid the bull via the road and bypass the field to pickup the public footpath on the other side.

From the manager: All grass pitches are 'free range'...basically people can choose where they wish to pitch depending on size on caravan/camper/motorhome and to suit individual requirements for views/privacy. Site is sloping but some areas people pitch without even needing anything to help get level. Blocks etc are available for people to use if necessary but generally they aren't required.

Liked Very Clean, great facilities, friendly staff. Fantastic location.
Disliked Large group of campers in the non electric area, during the weekend, ignoring the after 10pm quiet and respect times. (Ear Plugs recommended!) We set up early on Friday afternoon in a far corner, but soon became surrounded by cars and noisy campers. We counted 9 vehicles from the large group. "Suggestion", there is a very large field next to the camping area, that maybe could be used for these large noisy groups, well away from responsible and respectful campers.
Would like to stay again, but will likely book mid week to avoid the above.
