What customers say
This is a well-maintained, adult-only campsite praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and excellent facilities, including spotless toilets and showers. Guests highlight the friendly and helpful hosts, the beautiful countryside location with great walking opportunities, and convenient access to local amenities. While occasional aircraft noise from East Midlands Airport is noted, it's generally considered minor. Some reviews mention minor issues with Wi-Fi or pitch levelling, and a preference for more sinks in toilet cubicles. Despite occasional disruptions due to external factors, visitors frequently express a desire to return.

Facilities
Disliked One camper brought in 2 kids with them , they were quiet thank god, but why??
Another person staying in the hut thought it would be a good idea to fly a drone until 10:30pm.
Not the hosts fault - you just just make up how many people are idiots these days and that’s why it’s an 8/10 rather than a 10/10

Disappointed
Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked I like the location.
Facilities are good.
Disliked Hosts allowed children on the site despite it being *adults only* and no under 18 visitors.
They saw the kids and did nothing about it.
Second visit after they were invaded by travellers, gave it another go, extremely disappointed.

From the manager: We are strictly adults only. There’s always someone who tries to get away with breaking the rules and there are plenty of local sites for children.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked We booked this campsite with it being close to home to try out our recently purchased caravan. The hosts, Kerry and Trevor were warm and friendly but not intrusive. They were onsite if needed. The toilet/shower block exceptionally clean.
This campsite is in a great location and very peaceful. Loved that it had WiFi as not many sites do. We will definitely be returning.
