Liked We personally can’t fault it really the locals are all friendly which helps, lovely views, nice and relaxing place

Disliked Maybe having no sinks in the toilet cubicals was abit strange and just having hand sanatizer, but it’s not the end of the world. each to there own i suppose

Liked Great site, lovely facilities, wifi worked well and a fridge available to store your food and drink on site.
Three Horse Shoes pub in the nearby village does lovely food and drink.
10 minutes drive to Donnington circuit and 15 minutes drive to Staunton Harold Reservoir.

Liked Well managed site, the wardens were very prompt greeting us on our arrival and explained about the facilities.

Disliked Disabled toilets were locked?
I witnessed a caravan or motorhome owner washing out the chemical toilet with the drinking water tap even though there was a sign?
£4 for a small dog is expensive, when there are no other facilities for them.

From the manager: Thank you for your review.
We do not have a disability toilet on site and one of our toilet and shower rooms was closed for maintenance .
All motorhome/caravan owners are advised where the waste disposal areas are on arrival. The manager was informed and the facility was immediately sterilised and the guest was informed of the error he made.
Sorry you feel our charge for a dog is high but we do provide a dog walking on lead area within the site and also a dog washing shower with hot and cold water. There are also many dog walks around our site.

Liked What a little gem ! Kerry emailed day before with instructions . Lovely welcome on arrival . Spotlessly clean facilities . There was even a dog shower provided .
There's a lovely hobbit house to stay in , which would suit a motorbike traveller looking to stay whilst at Donnington race track .
We only had a one night stopover , but would return . Definitely recommend.

Liked The setting was lovely, staff very nice and helpful.

Disliked There should be a tap at the elsan point and be able to flush it and the electricity boxes shouldn't be next to the water taps. No hand wash facilities in the ladies toilet.

Liked Third time we've visited this campsite and although it was busier than our previous visits, it is a very quiet site.
A short drive to Melbourne if you need supplies.
Toilet/shower block clean.
The wardens, Kerry and Trevor friendly but not intrusive. Will definitely visit again in 2027.

Disliked Nothing to dislike, apart from leaving!!!!
