What customers say

This newly opened, adults-only site is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, immaculate and new facilities including hot showers, and spacious, level pitches. Guests highlight the excellent location for local walks and proximity to pubs, as well as the helpful and friendly staff. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, minor points raised include the lack of sinks in some toilet cubicles and occasional aircraft noise from the nearby airport. Potential improvements noted are further development of motorhome waste facilities and more hooks in shower areas.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Clear arrival instructions and owners available by text for any questions.

Amazing toilets/showers (even the dog
shower!) - spacious and spotlessly clean.

The tent pitch was perfect - level and stone free; all the tent pegs went in all the way first time.

Not too busy so able to find a great pitch.

Disliked The only negative thing would be the planes from East Midlands Airport are quite noisy but you do get used to them (these are probably outside of the campsite's control!)

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Oh this was great, just a one night stopover to clear the stresses of a work week, easy walk to the pub up the road, nice and quiet and some great shower and wash facilities. Wifi worked even though I was down the bottom of the field away. Things you never knew would be great at a campsite - a dog wash area!

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Great peaceful secure site. The facilities are beyond expectations, very clean and looked after. No hand wash basin in the toilet cuticles but basins are available at each end of the building The site is quite close to a couple of decent pubs, not sure about the quality of the food as I didn't eat at them.
Dave, the site manager is a top man, very helpful and informative. The site borders on Castle Donnington airport so aircraft noise is inevitable. Don't let put you off though, it is still worth staying here.

Disliked No wash basin in the toilet cubicles?
