What customers say

This newly opened, adults-only site is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, immaculate and new facilities including hot showers, and spacious, level pitches. Guests highlight the excellent location for local walks and proximity to pubs, as well as the helpful and friendly staff. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, minor points raised include the lack of sinks in some toilet cubicles and occasional aircraft noise from the nearby airport. Potential improvements noted are further development of motorhome waste facilities and more hooks in shower areas.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Lovely camping field with walks going from it with nice villages close at hand

Disliked Very Near East Midlands Airport so noisy. Also near Donning track used by bikers in early evening adding to the noise.
Strange configuration of toilet block no wash hand basins in wc’s only sanitiser was strange. No shaver sockets or hair dryers again strange for a site that takes tents as well as motor homes.
For a newly created site with new gravel hard standing we still needed ramps surly they could have been made level.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Friendly site with good clean facilities in a great location for walks, village pubs and Calke Abbey. The shop/post office in the village of Breedon has long opening hours and is only a 10-minute walk. Free WiFi is a nice plus.
