Staff really friendly
Pub on site
Nice and quiet
Disliked: Signage not the best.
Toilet block hit and miss for cleanliness
A lot of long term pitches of varying quality including a horse lorry that might put some off.
Cant take dog into the pub..thankfully warm and dry when I went.

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay here and for leaving a review.
The pub is the Brewers Fayre, they have a chain of pubs and the campsite does not set their rules regarding no dogs inside, however they do accept them in the garden.
As there were very few staying on site the showers and toilets only had 2 daily cleans during your stay, we do ask guests to tidy up after themselves as much as possible.
We hope to see you again soon.

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay here and that you will visit again.
The sizes of the pitches are as stated when booking, however as they are not separated by fences or shrubs/bushes some guests do on occasions take up some space not allocated to them.
If you do not need an electric pitch next time try one of our fields where there is so much more space.
Great pitches, reasonable size and even ground.

Liked: Well maintained site, good quality and clean facilities. Helpful staff.
Disliked: Road noise, not just average and expected noise but what sounded like drag racing at midnight/ 1am. We have young children and so very disrupted sleep as it was too loud for them (and us). No reflection of the site, which is great, but a real consideration for us as to whether or not we’d return.

Liked: Toilets were cleaned regularly throughout the day and we're of a very good standard. There were lots of spaces between tents. The owners were friendly, and the prices were lower than their competitors. There were lots of walks nearby.
