Spacious site with river access for water sports & walks. Lots of room & friendly vibe; many return yearly. Facilities generally clean but basic; some suggest more frequent cleaning & extra facilities. Hop Farm attractions currently closed.

Ok site for one night.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Massive site so not sitting in top of people.
Disliked Toilets & showers basic, only one block for the whole site so lots of cars from the far away fields driving around.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: There are 2 toilet and shower blocks, however they are right next to each other, and if choosing to be in a field further away it is advisable to bring a toilet tent to avoid either a long walk or having to drive to them.
It is a shame you will not stay again to enjoy the country and river walks.
Had a brilliant time everyone loved…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Had a brilliant time everyone loved going in the river swimming and playing on the swing will definitely be back
Disliked Not enough Porto loos was long way to toilet had to drive there every time we needed the loo

A good campsite. Excellent if the adventure park was open.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Great toilet and shower facilities with sufficient hot water. Lots of space to not be bothered by neighbouring campers (at least for unpowered pitches.
Disliked The adventure park was closed and we really missed not being allowed to have a fire. We understand that this was for safety reasons but the gang were cold in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at hop farm.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lots of space, loved the river next to the site.
Disliked One block of toilets in the whole site seemed odd. Whole place felt like a bit of a missed opportunity, what I mean by that is that with some better facilities this could be an amazing site

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave a review.
There are 2 toilet and shower blocks which are located right next to each other. The emphasis of the campsite is on being outdoors enjoying each other’s company, perhaps the owner will look into providing more facilities in the future.
We look forward to seeing you again.
Not much…
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Not much
Disliked To many big groups of people
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: There was 1 group in the electric field where you were and at 10pm each night they did adhere to the no music and quiet policy. In the non-electric fields there were a few large groups however there was still lots of space to enjoy the country and river walks.
Amazing as always! We always enjoy…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Amazing as always! We always enjoy staying here. The campsite is clean, well-maintained, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The only thing missing is a playground for children. Adding one would make this place absolutely perfect for families. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

From the manager: Thank you for your loyalty in choosing to stay with us and that you enjoy your visits.
The management have said at the moment there are no plans to install a children’s play park, however it is something that is being looked into.
We look forward to welcoming you again.

Disliked Nothing

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to leave a review.
The manager has confirmed the organised events/concerts will not be returning(I miss them too). It is still a great big site to enjoy whether on your own, as a couple with family or with friends.
We look forward to welcoming you again.
Lovely stay pizza people was great…
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely stay pizza people was great
Disliked Not enough choice in shop
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay with us and sharing your photos.
The office/shop only sells the basics like drinks, ice-creams, tent pegs etc. It is not possible to stock perishable items as there is not enough demand for them to be sold before going out of date.
As well as having a pizza van on site occasionally, local restaurants/ takeaways deliver to the office barrier.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Great campsite, wonderful access to the river, relaxed atmosphere
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Big space, wonderful access to the river, relaxed atmosphere
Disliked Other campers playing loud music until past midnight
Could be more bathroom facilities on a campsite so large

From the manager: Thank you for choosing to stay here and for leaving a review.
We were out on site Friday night from 10pm until 1230am and had to go back to 3 separate groups asking them to turn off their music and to keep noise to a minimum, they obviously believed they were exempt from the 10pm until 8am quiet policy. I spoke to them the next day and Saturday was a much quieter night.
We look forward to welcoming you again.
