What customers say
A beautifully scenic site offering a "wild camping" feel with woodland and field pitches. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere. The on-site bar and Thai food are popular additions. While the location is ideal for exploring, some guests noted insufficient facilities during peak times and a distance to amenities from certain pitches.

Field non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch
Liked Nice location, having a shop is convenient and facilities are decent.
Very nice walks around without having to jump in the car.
Lots of forest ground pitches and most looks cosy. Unless you’re camping in a 1 or 2 persons tent I would go for the larger sized pitches.
Disliked Toilets are a bit of a walk from pitches, but not enough to put me off staying again. In reality it’s 3-5 mins which is nothing, but when you need to go, it feels long!

Liked Beautiful site , with lots to see and do close by. Very helpful staff
Disliked The freezer was very small for the number of guests on site and unfortunately due to other guests putting food items in the freezer my ice packs for the cool box did not refreeze.

Liked We absolutely loved our stay at Cefn Coed...peaceful and perfect. We stayed in the forest area which was so brilliant, secluded but only a short walk up to the wonderful facilities. We had a lovely, very friendly welcome. We are planning our next visit.

I would suggest people stay at the wooded pitches, closer to amenities
Field non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch
Liked The views and walks around were amazing. The bar looked great and the hangout area with hammocks.
Disliked The lack of toilets. The place was busy, 4 toilets, 4 showers are not enough. Pitched at the field was busy. At night the site was far from quiet, people being noisy, using their cars to come in and out, music was being played. No one came to check and reinforce the rule about being quiet.

Too busy on the fields

Liked Remoteness and uniqueness
Disliked Over crowded and way too occupied and not the peaceful pitch up we were hoping for, and despite being told I would get a refund for only using the fire pit one night, the refund was not returned.
