Me gustó Wonderful warm, friendly, welcome. Beautiful scenery, fabulous spots to camp - plenty of space between neighbours. Showers, loos and washing station good - lovely walks from site.

No me gustó The compost loo in our field was full so unusable. That meant a bit of a walk up to yhe main block if we got caught short.

Me gustó Loved this wild site with beautiful walk to the estuary. Richard was very welcoming and it was the perfect spot for us.

No me gustó Were told that there were wood fired pizzas. Planned on having this after a long day of hiking. Found out they had run out of dough… had to travel 30 minutes to find somewhere not fully booked because if this

Me gustó The location is incredible and the guys were very helpful with recommending local walks! We were very appreciative of our secluded woodland spot as it was amazing for stargazing and enjoying the wildlife. We were aware this meant a further walk to the car park and toilets but we're okay with this and very grateful for plenty of wheelbarrows being available.

No me gustó We did unfortunately feel let down as we had really been looking forward to having some food at the bar after a long hike, but were left disappointed as all they had on offer were potatoes! They turned lots of people away and suggested to go to the local pub instead which is a 30 minute walk, not fun when you've been walking all day. They then shut the bar and kitchen around 7 to go on a staff night out! As we were eating our potatoes loads of people started arriving to eat and one person rung up to ask about ordering food to be told they shut early because no one was there!! Considering the food is only available on weekends it seemed ludicrous to not have any food on a Saturday and to close early! We specifically chose this campsite for the bar area and being able to have food on site, so this experience was incredibly disappointing.

We also rung ahead to see if we could use our own firepit because of how dry it's been we didn't want to bring it all the way to be told no fires (understandable) Turns out we were only allowed if we brought a heat mat, but we said our firepit has legs so not touching the ground, but were then told it has to be ten inches off the ground which seemed a bit random as our pit legs are about 6 inches high. They wouldn't let us use their heat mats either without hiring their firepits too, which just seemed a bit unfair when we'd spent a fair amount already. Every campsite we'd stayed at includes the campfire at no extra charge. We were happy to pay for the wood and kindle, but thought we should've been able to bring our own pit.

No me gustó Three fields of campers with one compost toilet that smelt disgusting, overflowing and unusable.
Exit (with new gate) from field to driveway , to main showers and toilets, was a rocky path, maybe once was steps(okay if you are an ibex). Main toilets (4) and showers (4) totally inadequate for the large numbers of campers. The only wash basin right next to 2 washing up sinks. So wash basin, wash up facilities, toilets, showers all in a small, overcrowded and dingy room. Bit like a cave. The distance uphill from camp site to the dingy loos is a long way.

Me gustó The woodland pitches were lovely and all the staff were very friendly, the location was perfect for us as there were a lot of attractions within an hour driving distance

Me gustó Really peaceful setting, plenty of space, good facilities.
The communal space for eating and playing games under cover is great.
The walk down to the estuary through the woods is lovely - plenty to explore (for grown-ups and children alike).

Me gustó Absolutely loved the place! It was quiet with the most beautiful views, especially in the morning when the sun shone over the mountains.

Facilities were on point and the area for food and drink was equally as impressive with the smell of smoke coming from the log burning pizza oven and light music ambience you can even chill in a hammock!

A wellness area with a sauna, cold plunge and therapy teepee JUST GO and see for yourself I’m not doing it enough justice…. 😍😍😍😍😍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
