What customers say
Beautiful, secluded woodland campsite with spacious pitches. Friendly staff, great location for walks, pizza oven & bar. Some found facilities busy/limited at peak times; midges can be an issue.

Oak Woodland primitive forest floor tent campsite
Liked Absolutely fantastic location nestled along a forested hillside only a short walk away from the estuary. Wonderful staff who are kind, accommodating and informative - we requested use of hammocks as well as a tent whilst booking and they made sure our pitch area was suitable for hammocks. They also gave us a rundown of the best walks and pubs nearby which we appreciated. The onsite bar, shop and kitchen are lovely (the wood fired pizzas are some of the best I’ve ever had) and they have some beautiful hand crafted items perfect as a souvenir. The showers and toilets were clean and well stocked, the water was nice and hot and ran at a good pressure. The forest pitches were all a good distance away, helping your stay feel more private and allowing you to stay up for longer chatting with mates without causing disruption (or sleeping early without fear of being kept up). It truly felt like a slice of paradise, my friends and I weren’t expecting to find such a hidden idyllic treasure.

Wooded primitive grass and earth campervan campsite (no cars)
Liked We liked this woodland site with easy access on foot to different walks; hilly ones and flat, mostly fairly shaded, ones to Barmouth and Dolgellau. The site staff are friendly and the showers are good. There is a covered area with benches where you can charge devices and read or play games. We enjoyed our visits from a Robin and her two babies as well as other birds.
Disliked We would have liked easier access to the freezer so we could change our ice blocks more often.
