What customers say
Camp has a "wild camping" vibe with private woodland/meadow spots. Staff are great, scenery stunning, and facilities (hot showers, clean loos) are top-notch. The on-site bar and wood-fired pizzas are a hit. Some note facilities are a walk from pitches, and toilets/showers can get busy in peak season.

Site is well run with decent facilities (albeit basic). Decent bar and wood fired pizza too.

Beautiful location with lots of potential, but not quite as expected
Field non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Lovely location and surroundings, and we really liked the eco ethos behind the site. The bar and stone baked pizza setup looked great too. The male owner and barman were both really friendly and welcoming.
Disliked As a Forest Schooler who loves anything eco, green and a little wild, I really wanted to love this place.Unfortunately, it felt much more crammed in than Instagram suggested, with lots of campers in one large field and pretty constant site traffic. Some of the female staff came across quite stand-offish. Although advertised as dog friendly, the resident dog wasn’t friendly towards ours, which meant we didn’t feel comfortable sitting around the bar area. The compost toilet on our field was also dirty and overflowing.

We loved it and had a great holiday.
Field non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked The scenery. The welcome was friendly, informative and helpful. The choice of places to camp. The relaxed nature of the staff. The communal eating, drinking and games area. The other campers were all quiet and there was no bother. Hot showers. Pizzas were delicious. Friendly bar staff. We liked the stone steps and the stone filled pot holes. No massive pressure to check out exactly on time. Beautiful access to the mawddach trail. The site felt safe.
Disliked The bin area was overfilled. (Sunday/Monday)
The toilets, shower and dishwashing area was not big enough for number of campers but I appreciate a new block is being built)
The light didn’t work in the meadow compost toilet and it was not very clean.

Wooded non-electric grass and earth campervan pitch (no cars)
Liked Lovely friendly campsite. Community buzz and nice people.
Disliked Simply put, there are not enough toilet and washing facilities for the amount of people staying at the campsite. There was probably 150 possibly more people there, and only four toilets and showers. These are positioned at the top of a steep hill, so difficult to get to if you need. There were a few more compost loos around the place, but there needed to be many more toilets and showers for the amount of campers. Dishwashing and hand washing was also in the same place so a bit unhygienic.

Lovely site, perfect get away from it all
Oak Woodland non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked Lovely site, owner noted my request for a secluded spot and did not disappoint! Whole site not crowded at all and toilet and shower block well looked after although a bit of a walk from some pitches
Disliked Unfortunately 2 of my freezer blocks got stolen from the freezer- not the sites fault but frustrating none the less!

Liked I loved the setting, staff were friendly, facilities were great, I felt safe and was able to leave my gadget charging without worries. All campers had respect for one another.
