Regarding the situation on the lane, thank you for mentioning it. We do ask all caravans and motorhomes to follow a specific route when departing, as it avoids the narrower access road and helps keep things running smoothly for everyone. It looks like the alternative route was taken by mistake, which is why the locals were surprised to see a caravan coming down that lane. We’ll continue reminding guests of the correct exit route to prevent any confusion in future.

Liked We stayed here in our motorhome this weekend and had a fantastic experience. The campsite is very well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. Check-in was smooth and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

Our pitch had everything we needed and we had no issues during our stay. The indoor swimming pool was a real bonus—free to use, very clean, and a lovely temperature. Even the changing rooms were spotless, which really stood out.

The grounds are beautifully kept, and the children’s play park was clean, safe, and well maintained. We also loved the pizza van on the Friday evening—it was a great addition. The small shop at reception was really handy too, with a good selection of essentials.

Overall, it’s a lovely campsite with excellent facilities, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommended!

Disliked The only downside for us was that there wasn’t an on-site restaurant or pub. As the campsite is quite a long way from the nearest town, it would really benefit from having somewhere on site to enjoy a meal or a drink without having to travel. Adding a restaurant, pub, or even a café would make an already great campsite even better.

We recommend the various takeaway deliveries that come directly to the park, as they give guests plenty of choice without affecting the peaceful, rural charm that makes Morfa Bychan special. Opening a pub, restaurant, or café on site would change the quiet atmosphere many guests come here for, and due to our location it simply wouldn’t be cost‑effective to run — so we focus on maintaining a calm, well‑kept environment and offering convenient alternatives instead.

Liked Clean and tidy site

Disliked The road access is to narrow for Motorhome’s !! Ours was damaged by grass verge.
Site should consider better signage for larger vehicles directing them further to the next turning off the main road
Also we booked a large kitepitch and were given a small campervan pitch
We were moved as it did not comply with fire break rules.

Regarding the access road, the arrival instructions we provide before booking clearly explain which route motorhomes should use. Your vehicle was no larger than many of the motorhomes that visit us regularly without difficulty — it appears the issue arose from taking the narrower road rather than following the guidance provided. We always encourage guests to read the access information carefully, as it’s designed to make arrival as smooth as possible.

In terms of your pitch, there were no fire‑break concerns. You were initially placed on one of our new Buzzard hardstanding pitches, but after you mentioned you didn’t like that particular location, we moved you to a Red Kite hardstanding pitch instead. Both pitch types are the same size, and we were happy to accommodate your preference for a different spot.

We appreciate your feedback and hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable.

Liked The site is so well maintained. Plenty of dog poop bins, benches to enjoy the view and shop is very reasonably priced! The pool and changing area is really clean and welcoming. Loved the coastal path walk and the private beach. Dogs enjoyed the exercise area. It was well lit at night. Staff extremely friendly. Great park for the children. Everything about this site makes us want to visit time and time again.

Disliked The only dislike was that you had to pay separately for the Wifi if you wished to do so.
