Wonderful beauty spot in Dorset
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We had a fantastic camping trip to Litton Lakes. Lovely staff - we were greeted when we arrived and everyone was so kind. Fantastic spot to relax and swim. Clean facilities and so much space for the children to run around. We walked to the pub down the road and had a delicious pizza.
Disliked Nothing to dislike at all. I would just say it would be great if the cafe opened a little earlier than 10am so I could get my coffee fix but just a suggestion not a complaint.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. I would go back again
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The space between pitches was great and stopped it from feeling overcrowded. The lake is beautiful and clean for a swim. We were offered a shaded pitch when we arrived as we camped with dogs. The views from the campsite are stunning. The new shower block is lovely and clean, could do with slightly better locks on the doors and shower heads but overall it was great to stay somewhere with enough cubicles to suit the size of the site, which is a rarity!
Disliked There needs to be an actual gate into the dog field, we had a few issues with our dogs escaping back into the green by the lake and issues with other people's dogs doing the same.
The food prices are the cafe are far too expensive for sandwiches (£7 fora bacon sandwich as an example)
The on site shop was advertised as an "everything you need" shop, in reality it's a gift shop with a few toiletries, we were expecting to be able to buy things like eggs, marshmallows, small food bits, etc and feel like this was oversold on the website.
