Campeggio molto apprezzato con un bel lago, ideale per paddleboard, nuoto e kayak. Staff cordiale, piazzole spaziose e livellate, atmosfera rilassata e tranquilla. Servizi generalmente puliti, con molti che lodano il nuovo blocco docce. Caffè in loco e pub nelle vicinanze apprezzati. Pressione acqua docce a volte bassa e orari ridotti del caffè, ma nel complesso consigliato per tornarci.

Mi è piaciuto Area was nice, picturesque and well laid out. On site buildings were modern and clean in appearance. Plenty of space and kayak hire on site (if complex and expensive) was good. Local pub was excellent. Great food. I’d describe this as a young family with young children friendly site.
Noise curfew seemed to be adhered to.
Non mi è piaciuto Showers were terrible. They are solar powered and despite being there for the hottest June days on record, they were stone cold throughout the day. Water pressure was variable and the fixed shower heads sprayed everywhere, including on the clothes pegs on the back of the doors.
Several of the toilets had broken door locks too. The cafe on site seemed to have random opening hours different to those advertised and is completely closed on certain days. The lake is advertised as “crystal clear”. It wasn’t. Loads of floating algae and there was major construction work ongoing. Think JCBs, chainsaws and pile driving pontoon pillars into the lake bed creating noise throughout the day. It was also exceptionally busy with day visitors so don’t expect peaceful tranquility, more like human soup! Despite signs saying that dogs are to be kept on leads at all times, there were two that were running loose all of the time, even after being warned by the site warden.

Mi è piaciuto A very spacious site with a lovely position in the Dorset countryside. Great service from the camp warden. The facilities are clean. The pub is only 5 minutes away. And of course, THE LAKE. It was so lovely to swim in on one of the hottest days of the year.

Mi è piaciuto We loved staying at this campsite and didn’t want to leave! Wonderful, friendly welcome on arrival. Well kept with a new eco shower and toilet block. Fantastic walks nearby for our dog, and a beautiful lake to swim in (especially lovely as it was so hot during our stay!). Didn’t go in the cafe but it looked good.
Non mi è piaciuto The solar panels heated the water little too well during our stay (very sunny), no shortage of piping hot water but you can’t turn the temperature down! Am guessing cool showers on cloudy days.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful camp site, surrounded by hills and the lake is stunning. It’s such a nice touch to be able to access the lake from the campsite so great for paddle boarding/kayaking! The cafe is also so beautiful, great food and little trinkets to buy!
Non mi è piaciuto I loved the campsite as a whole so this a very petty and not even something that would deter me from going again but if I had to make one observation it would be that the ground is quite hard and it was difficult to get some tent pegs in.

Mi è piaciuto Very friendly staff and easy check in - knew straight away we requested 2 pitches together even though booked months ago and it was busy, we didn’t have to prompt; pitches are a good size and maintained well. Clean toilet and shower facilities. Lake is awesome! Plenty of tables and space to sit around the lake. Cafe looks decent which we will try next time. No light pollution so lovely for watching the sunset/sunrise and for stargazing. Just everything is great, we’re booking again for soon, it’s already become one of our new favourite campsites.

Mi è piaciuto We had a fantastic stay at Litton Lakes, the lake was amazing! Lovely swim/paddleboard. Site is very well kept, facilities are spotless. We loves the relaxed vibes, fire pits etc.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely lovely campsite. Clean facilities. Showers could have been a bit stronger but did the job. Would love to come back again.
Non mi è piaciuto On a sunny Sunday it would be lovely for the cafe to open later. Would be nice to have pop up food options on a Friday or Saturday night. Bigger bins or more regular emptying of the bin by the lake.
