What customers say

This is a large, busy park with a wide range of activities for children, including pools and entertainment. Pitches are generally well-sized and some offer privacy. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful. However, many visitors report issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the toilet and shower facilities, with some noting them as dated and poorly maintained. Several reviews mention issues with noise and overcrowded facilities, particularly during peak times.

Paddock electric grass touring pitch

Liked Bar staff lady was friendly and polite. The booking staff were polite
The site could be lovely. Great offering large pitches option.

Disliked Toilets were not flushing most days. Showers need a jet wash to get rid of build up of grot. Staff have been told to give a standard line that they are short staffed. Yet staff in booking office all lying on benches doing nothing. Even though weather warnings were issued no prep was done so site flooded. No obvious security presence to deal with the assault happening. Life guards allowing children to behave dangerously in swimming pool. We don’t have a dog but had to clear up dog poo twice do our kids didn’t step in it. Dog poo in the toilet . The rules that are given are not being adhered to. Lots of work vehicles on site towing caravans? How can this be managed when the touring office is closed. Surely security presence is needed around the touring area?

Local attractions

It’s a short hop in the car to begin discovering the area’s spectacular surrounds, from the wilds of the New Forest to the ancient cliffs, limestone arches and nature reserves of the Jurassic Coast (tick off another World Heritage Site on your 'must-see' list). Dorset is jammed with attractions to suit all interests. History buffs might fancy clambering around Northe Fort or scaling the ramparts at Corfe and Portland castles. The Adventure Wonderland family theme park has thrills for kids of all ages, plus a massive hedge maze to get lost in, and action men (and women) can go paintballing or drive a tank at the Bovington Tank Museum. There’s loads of fun for fauna fans, too: check out the chimps at Monkey World, swan about at Abbotsbury Swannery, visit Weymouth Sea Life Park, explore the largest saltwater lagoon in the country on the glass-bottomed Fleet Observer, or meet some farmyard friends at Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park. Drive a bit further and you can also make a day trip to Longleat Safari Park.
