Sandford Holiday Park is an apt name for this park, which has acres of Britain’s best beaches within easy reach… From its peaceful Holton Heath woodland setting, it's just a short journey to the wide sands of Studland and Sandbanks, as well as lively resorts such as Bournemouth and Poole – all of which are within a half-hour drive. Boredom's not an option here, where the activities include a summer outdoor and indoor pool complex, a dedicated musical play pool for toddlers, courts for tennis and many other sports, bikes and pedal go-karts for hire, and nature trails crisscrossing the site. Still standing after all that energetic stuff? Then go swing’n’rolling at the bowling, or take the kids around the jungle-themed crazy golf and reward the winner with an extra scoop at the site’s ice cream parlour. The park also has three different kids’ clubs, banded by age to make sure top fun is had by all (even the harder-to-please teens should be mildly interested by the film-making and DJ workshops… plus the free wifi on site). Young’uns should also enjoy the indoor soft play zone and two outdoor play areas, with a pirate ship and a climbing wall as well as the usual playground paraphernalia. Recharge your batteries at the fish and chip shop or the Arena restaurant, which serves Costa coffee as well as pizzas and lots of other family-friendly meals. 喜欢 Affordable & accommodating. Great facilities including clean toilets, showers and wash rooms. Laundrette, food and food service to individual pitches. Entertainment, outdoor play area, soft play and swimming, great for the kids. My 18 month old loved it!

不喜欢 Pre-booking swimming was a bit of a faff and we missed out due to limited spaces that get booked up really quickly.

喜欢 Exactly what we wanted to try out our recently converted van.

不喜欢 I think facilities, in general were very good. One toilet I sat on wasn't bolted down. No coat hooks on inside of gents toilets. Showers went from ice cold to scalding hot. Absolutely zero wifi, despite being advertised.

喜欢 Good pitch, nearby facilities, spotlessly clean. Good chicken at the takeaway!

不喜欢 Reception. We were not informed that the reception for tourers was closed, despite receiving a welcome email a few hours before arrival. We had to turn round a long caravan with great difficulty due to a badly parked car and return to Main Reception. The Receptionist was not interested in my frustration and when she tried to explain where we should be going was incredibly difficult to understand

喜欢 The facilities were nice and clean and the location is perfect for Poole and Wareham . Entertainment there if you want it or it’s not my thing.

不喜欢 The pitch had quite a few bits of rubbish from the people that had camped there previously, both times I have used this site have been the same. The pitches could have been better maintained .

Decent facilities that were cleaned regularly

不喜欢 More laundry machines in the touring area for a site that has 296 pitches thwr was only one washer and one dryer
