Sandford Holiday Park is an apt name for this park, which has acres of Britain’s best beaches within easy reach… From its peaceful Holton Heath woodland setting, it's just a short journey to the wide sands of Studland and Sandbanks, as well as lively resorts such as Bournemouth and Poole – all of which are within a half-hour drive. Boredom's not an option here, where the activities include a summer outdoor and indoor pool complex, a dedicated musical play pool for toddlers, courts for tennis and many other sports, bikes and pedal go-karts for hire, and nature trails crisscrossing the site. Still standing after all that energetic stuff? Then go swing’n’rolling at the bowling, or take the kids around the jungle-themed crazy golf and reward the winner with an extra scoop at the site’s ice cream parlour. The park also has three different kids’ clubs, banded by age to make sure top fun is had by all (even the harder-to-please teens should be mildly interested by the film-making and DJ workshops… plus the free wifi on site). Young’uns should also enjoy the indoor soft play zone and two outdoor play areas, with a pirate ship and a climbing wall as well as the usual playground paraphernalia. Recharge your batteries at the fish and chip shop or the Arena restaurant, which serves Costa coffee as well as pizzas and lots of other family-friendly meals. Then top it all off with a trip to the Limelite Club for family entertainment, cabaret and competitions from the sparkly Troupers: you should sleep well after that lot…

Em va agradar Good clean facilities with lots of options for small children.

No em va agradar Not so many options for teens. We found the price of everything to be extremely high. One round of 2 alcoholic drinks & 3 soft drinks at £30 a time is just not acceptable. It meant we restricted our use of the onsite facilities & stayed in which is a shame.

Em va agradar I thought the activities were quite good a varied for younger an older children.
Liked the spaces between pitches with hedges, great idea as gives bit of privacy.

No em va agradar Bit run down in certain areas around camp. An my son nearly drowned in outdoor pool I turned for one second but I had my son jump in as the lifeguards didn’t see him.

No em va agradar Toilets didnt flush i thought there wasnt enough space especially for car time i put awning up wasnt much room for table and chairs also the showers no pressure slow as hell the elsen disposal was always blocked never clean swimming pool outdoors was dirty in pool no shower outside qite a walk away to amenties as in club hose amusements

No em va agradar The pitches seemed quite tightly packed and the WC block seemed undersized for the number of people there. The WCs weren't all working and didn't seemed to be checked regularly.

Em va agradar The pitch we were given was clean and peaceful.

No em va agradar Toilets were disguising dirty and stank so bad! showers were in a poor state the first 2 cubicles the shower heads were damaged and the other didn’t lock. Every activity on site cost a lot of money to do. Overall very disappointed and will not be returning there.

Em va agradar Friendly staff.

No em va agradar Dirty, rats, toilets wouldn’t flush, no hot water to shower, rules regarding E-scooters not enforced, noise beyond specified timings and not policed, kids pool not open, so difficult for small children to enjoy the outdoor pool, pitches were full of litter( fag ends and rubbish within the hedges. Overall not a great experience, to the point we left on Tuesday, 3 days earlier due to the poor conditions. The rats were the final straw. We will not be returning and if there was a mechanism to get reimbursed, I would definitely be pursuing this option.

Em va agradar Liked everything about the park there was so much to do while on park such as crazy golf and the shop was very good for essentials and gifts and the entertainment was very good loved seeing reggie and bollie and the staff put on a good show aswell and the thunderbird chicken and the fish and chip shop was delicious . The camping area was very good also good privacy between each pitch . The shower block and toilets was very clean and very good shower pressure. Definitely be back .

The Adventure Wonderland family theme park has thrills for kids of all ages, plus a massive hedge maze to get lost in, and action men (and women) can go paintballing or drive a tank at the Bovington Tank Museum. There’s loads of fun for fauna fans, too: check out the chimps at Monkey World, swan about at Abbotsbury Swannery, visit Weymouth Sea Life Park, explore the largest saltwater lagoon in the country on the glass-bottomed Fleet Observer, or meet some farmyard friends at Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park.
